Level 51 Center
Run oriented team
AAA team

AE that I could upgrade to replace a base +1 strength, +1 Get Low (have another AE that had a base of +3 Blocking, +1 Get Low)

+1 agility, +1 Cut Block SA
+2 vision, +1 Shock Block SA
+1 blocking, +1 First Step SA
, +1 Pancake SA

Currently has 13 in Get Low, 3 in Cut Block, 2 in Pancake. He gets pancakes here and there.

Is one of the above group an improvement over the +1 strength, +1 Get Low or should I keep looking? Also, is having Get Low above 10 effective or is it better served to take those 3 points and get them into a different SA?

i would probably take the cut block piece. will allow you to build that up without investing in hands

Personally, I would keep the GL piece. GL is my favourite skill on the run tree. The only thing I would replace it with would be a better GL, a sweet +3/run block or better than those, Line General.

Edit: Shock block might be worth looking at also, with the new stun mechanics it might be worth it. Try to scout a player with Shock Block, see how often it fires and what kind of blocking results from it.

Why invest in hands, cut block or pancake? The points are so much better spent building your skills (confidence, agility, vision)

IF you do have a pancake built player, I would just get 2 pieces of pancake AE, settle for nothing else, max run block and get low. This type of build will not benefit the team as best as possible, but it can be fun to pick up individual trophies I guess.

I pretty much agree with what CW is saying. Run Block and GL are the best running SAs IMO, so I would keep the piece of AEQ that you have right now. I can see why Cut Block would be attractive if your Center has lower strength than the NTs that you are going up against. As far as pancake, it could be alright, but you are sacrificing a lot of points that you could put elsewhere, but if you can get 2 pancake pieces, it could be worth it. I still haven't found a Nose Tackle that can consistently rush the passer so shock block wouldn't be high on my list. Centers don't need to be that fast IMO so I would throw the FS out too.

I say keep the GL, although I would look for something else if it is over 10.
