Potentially the best week for write-ups this season!
Games to Watch
Balanced Game of the Week
Nottingham Hoods @ German Wilddogs
Nottingham is not finding their way easily on offense, however, defensively, they are really starting to find their groove. It’s what makes this game so balanced, because like Nottingham, GW is having some struggles on offense. But defensively, they have made plenty of noise. The key matchup in this game, will be Nottingham’s passing offense vs German’s Passing Defense. If Nottingham can control the ball and avoid turnovers, they should win, alternatively, if GW can force a couple Ints, they may be able to pull out a win here. This should be nothing short of a nail biter.

Underrated Underdog Game of the Week
Molokai Lavastorm @ Canberra Strike
Canberra is getting the Underdog Card here. While they do have the #3 Offense & #10 Defense, they were..manhandled by Nottingham last week. Statistically Strike is actually doing better than Lavastorm, however, it is wins that matter. In this game, Canberra has to get rid of the memory of Nottingham, and play like they know they’re capable of. Lavastorm, the same can be said for you. With the utmost respect, you’ve beaten nobody worth mentioning outside of maybe Auckland so far, but, you still won, you’re still above Canberra in the rankings, you’ve earned your spot. We all know you’re better than you’ve played, but you have to prove it if you want to stay on top of Canberra this week. Another mid-season rank fight here, expect everything but the kitchen sink.

Powerhouse Game of the of the Week
Tasmania Tigers @ So Cal BDC
If you want to tame a tiger, you don’t feed him a steak with your bare hands. I guarantee, The Tigers are looking at So Cal as though they were steak. What more can be said about either of these teams that I haven’t said in the past? Both have proven where they stand, both are going to show up and fight like rabid animals. And in the end, it’s all about the question. Can the Prey topple the Predator? So can you So Cal? It doesn’t get any better than this does it? Two 4-1 Teams, with one goal in mind, Kicking the crap out of each other. Now might be a good time to put the EMT’s on standby.

Oceania Pro Alpha ‘Blitzorade’ Game of the Week
Berlin Devine Right @ Brantford Mustangs
BDR, what can I say. BDR is coming off what WSR (and myself of course) can only describe is a very gruesome win. Demolishing what was at one time thought of as a great team in lower leagues of Oceania, by 42 points. They’ve got the stats, talent, leadership and gameplans, but is that enough to beat Brantford? Defensively, is where Brantford has got to prove themselves in this game. BDR has proven both offensively and defensively, to be able to do whatever it is they wish for the most part. Brantford has got to control what BDR does, not let BDR control them. The master of this game, will also in turn, become the victor of this game.

**DOUBLE FEATURE!!**
Oceania Pro Zeta ‘Tostito Goal’ Game of the Week
Samoa Gangsters @ Mata-Utu Voodoo
Samoa is coming to Mata-Utu with a #6 D, but a very underachieving Offense. Samoa, there is one fact you’re going to have to live with in this game. In order to beat Mata-Utu, you’re going to have to score on them. Having said that, Samoa has proven over and over, that just because, statistically they have an underachieving offense, doesn’t mean they can’t score points . Voodoo comes into this game with the leagues #1 O & #1 D. They’ve been impressive and they’re obviously the favorite to win this one. But.. let’s not forget they still have to play the game. They are still going to have to out gameplan Samoa. This one is going to be as volatile as Piranha’s in the water at a Beach Party.
Oceania Pro Zeta ‘4th Quarter Pounder” Game of the Week
Kingston Uprising @ Banzai Pipeline 'Nites
Kingston’s Defense, more so than their offense, Ranked #2, has been their pride and joy this season. Their offense is doing well, but their defense has been down right demoralizing people. While Banzai is not doing quite as well statistically, they are still very much a force to be reckoned with. They too have been demoralizing opponents left and right. Kingston has beaten everyone that has come their way, Banzai had a fall against Samoa. This game could be just what these teams need to kick their season into an even higher gear. I cannot even guess who’ll win this one, but I do know this, Hell has come to Oceania! And those flames are about to get even higher!!
