Warrior General Games

Had to close the polls early today. I have an early job. There weren't a lot of teams that entered their votes. In fact, we only had one GM from Elephant and three GM from Lion, but two were the same team. Thanks for all the entry's.

Here is the Elephant Power Rankings. If you don't like your place, put a vote in for Week 4. any comments are from me, btw. It is hard to know a lot about any of the new teams yet.

1. Eazy Company Elites --- Sorry ECE, but i would have you in fourth.
2. Ikari Warriors --- This is the first of three teams i think will be Elephant Champions.
3. Ethiopia Famine ---- The Famine may feast at the big boys table this season. they look good.
4. Carolina Cruisers ---- Two games against this team built my respect for them. I will be surprised if they finish lower than 3rd.
5. ROCK and ROLL Express --- Will fight for the fourth seed home playoff game.
6. Egypt Fighting Tigers ---- Playoff team.
7. New York Kingsmen --- Playoff team.
8. Sahara Storm
9. Colonial Zoners
10. Bare Foot Gang

Lion Conference
I am going to use a point system. 10 for 1st place vote down to 1 for 10th place vote. I think this will give us a good overall view. I hope for more votes.We will see how it works out.

1. Monrovia Blood Diamonds (26) Big game today vs. Silverbacks.
2. South African Ratels (25) Play them early before their chemistry gets better. They always start slow and kill you later.
3. Zambezi Silverbacks (22) Voted best looking & sexiest DC in all GLB.
4. Combat Wombats (21) Very tough team. Could take it all.
5. Madagascar Serpent Eagles (20) Norrin and Rax are bad dudes.
6. Namibia Wildehond (17) The Enigma would be a better name right now. They are much better than their games have looked.
7. Screamin Eagles (10) Minnesota State is a nice looking newbie. Might pull off an upset.
8. Saskatoon Volcanoes (11) Another nice newbie.
9. Hitchhikers (2) Could taste the playoffs this year.
10. Cape Town Cowboys (2) left off one ballot. hopefully wont be left off the playoff list.

Agree, this is a good idea man!

I'll say too, the standings might already be in for a shake-up if this were done BCS style---It's the Wombats vs. the Serpent Eagles tonight, so one of us is going to end up with an, "L" in the Win-Loss column early.

I'll also add that there's no way in hell the Ratels should be #5. But I guess that's the beautiful thing about these polls...

To clarify, the overall poll was donated by the one Elephant Conference pollster. Since he went to the work of doing it, he deserved to have it posted.

There will be some movement today. The Wombats vs Serpent and Bloody Jewels vs Fat Dannys HairyBacks will be very good games.

I totally forgot to vote. I'll have them up for Week 4.
