West Playoffs Round 1
Game:
Waller Knights #3 vs Phoenix Elves#6
What happened when they met earlier:
The Knights won 24-10 in a game that was 14-10 at half
For Phoenix, Razor Arias Phoenix WR had an outstanding game on offense and Nikos Fellhand had 5 pass deflections, honorable mention Lester Sackberger with a Forced fumble, 2 TFL and 4 tackles.
For Waller, Gawaine Enoch had 10 pancakes and Podn Odn had 3 Pass Deflections
Outlook:
The Knights have a tough draw with the offensive minded elves coming to town. The Elves use a dual QB system as well as anybody and have the offensive weapons to make things interesting on the scoreboard.
Their defense is ranked 5th in the league in forcing fumbles which creates short fields for their offense to go to work. In their last game they decided to prove they could run the ball down the throat of their opponent en route to a 38-10 victory.
Hopefully we can rack up some home game concession and ticket revenue to ease the pain in case of an upset!!!

What happened last time: Vermont won a 32-10 decision (20-3 at the half).
But that means nothing: that was a game back in week 1, when the teams were still actively building and trying to find an identity. Make no mistake, Da NOLA found theirs, and are riding a 7-game winning streak. This game promises to be a knock-down drag-out slugfest, with neither team granting quarter and expecting none in return.

I am really intrigued by this matchup, I think the ice storm was(is) one of the best organized teams and i followed how they built their team before they even had one on the message boards. In fact early on I figured them for the prohibitive Eastern favorite. Now they find themselves in the #4 seed, facing a very tough peaking DA NOLA team. But look at Vermont's defensive numbers, they are excellent. This will be a great matchup. It is a shame one of these teams has to go home early.

the game is certainly intriguing. we really didn't find our offensive groove the entire season and tinkered and experimented with settings most of the time. our defense is very stout but Vermont has a pretty potent offense. it will be a good game, no bones about it...

ya it should be a good game. I know this game wont be as easy as week 1 but it started with this game it is kinda ironic that it could end with it. After alot of early smack talk but it kinda died down between us after the Atalanta game.

I'm looking forward to my game in the western conference, #2 Florida vs #7 Orlando. We met Florida back in week 2 and lost 34-13, but that was a long time ago when we were a much different team.
We had a lot of new players coming in at that time, were still heavily using CPUs for starters, weren't boosting, and were still learning how to control the game as a team. I think we've overcome all those obstacles, and since have won 8/9 of our last games, quite a few of which against teams rated much higher than ourselves.
All I know is that we're going to put in a good fight this time. Good luck to Florida!
