I borrowed this from another conference, but here is the formula for the rankings.

I assigned a value of 1-5 to five categories.

a - Team Rating
63 = 5
60 = 4
57 = 3
54 = 2
51 and below = 1

b - Average Offensive Starter Level
49+ = 5
47-48 = 4
45-46 = 3
43-44 = 2
below 42 = 1

c - Average Defensive Starter Level
49+ = 5
47-48 = 4
45-46 = 3
43-44 = 2
below 42 = 1

d - Owner/GMs
Long time Professional GM/ownership with trophies = 5
Long time high level GM/ownership with obvious winning experience = 4
Some evidence of winning experience on several GMs = 3
Little evidence of winning experience or several GMs with none = 2
One or two GMs (including owner) with no evidence of winning experience = 1

e - Depth
50+ players = 5
46+ players = 4
42 + players = 3
38 + players = 2
less than 34 players = 1

I am looking forward to playing Coral Bay again.

Haha We are going to have to get a lot better at game planning to earn that number one spot so far I just haven't found the grove in the preseason

I agree that this is good, one thing to consider is that there can be such a variety of builds for a given level that relying on level alone is only part of the story (although that increases the complexity of the ranking). I'm looking at a few of the lower rated teams on their to exceed their rankings.

True, but most builds are closed and besides that, going into everyone's build just to see the scouting report numbers for each player would take forever.

I figured anything complex would be too much for an Auburn fan after the beating we gave you in your house a few years ago...(USF)...that should've been a blowout...missed how many FGs in that one? Geez...

The Heels? We beat the snot out of that basketball school...

As for Auburn...Why the turnovers? Maybe it had something to do with our defense manhandling your OL and that SEC speed being the myth we all knew it was before we went up there. Say what you want, but head to head USF-1, AU-0....

Shouldn't you be jumping ship to root for Bama right about now??? Saban is killing Auburn on the recruiting trail despite Chizzy and others driving around in cute rentals...

It seems that you are, at least, aware of Auburn's recruiting efforts, while USF is apparently still content with continuing to get everyone's leftovers.
