ok the pre-season is finally over! lets get to playing some football.

i know some folks were working new play's in trying players in positions for the first time durning the pre-season so again this means nothing but here goes anyways

Unfortunately the only place that we are ahead of them at this point is in make believe preseason rankings.

only thing i know is we havent lost when it counted to MMM so Im baffled even after beating MMM in the preseason this season(which is a majority of the ranking data?) how are we ranked behind MMM? Bah it doesn't matter rankings mean nothing we proved that last season lol. good job regardless dirty.

has to do with Strength of Schedule, not just that you beat them.....

well MMM is a good team anyhow so no biggie. we feel they are championship caliber...good luck MMM.

Not to compete, but just to test a theory, I'm probably going to be issuing a second set of rankings during the regular season.

No, I did power rankings for several leagues for a while, and I wanted to test an idea I had. Your final preseason ranks will help me get there.

I did a lot of rankings based on individual game multipliers - MoV, SoV, etc. I always ran into a brick wall on the close games because there was just no way to get a substantial number of points for someone who won a game against a highly ranked opponent by a small margin of victory.

Having a hard preseason rank set up will help me get there because I can weight games based on previous week's ranking. This helps account for teams going CPU as well.

It still didnt adjust the Mojo to #1, so something is still broke.

Good to see the Niners went 3-0 in the Pre-Season. Will make us look that much better after week 1. ;-)
