The concrete walls echo of past fans cheering, the locker room sits quietly, this is the scene that we see as we had a visit to "The Crater" you can get a since of what there season was like. Which in frank terms was pretty average. While they have elite ability they seem to play at average or below average ability at times. The side that takes most of the blame is of course there struggling inconsistent offense. Which at times could'nt beat a D team. The Defense though very good, can not continously play down after down, as there own offense pretty much hands the ball back over. While there have been a few stand outs on the O side of the ball like the Macfadden, or the O-line, there Passing corp. has struggled. Led by Lucion McElwain and nicknamed "The Michigan Red Neck" there passing attack was around 2500 yds, alright for an inconsistent passing game, but what got them into troup was the 11 TD to 21 INT. And of course the all important redzone which it seemed to O had a hard time punching through. The Defense isn't an angel either but has for the most part been very consistant. Which there are rumors that the Defense were at the offenses throat to preform better, and better they did, in a feat only accomplished 3 times this year the last two games there passing attack went over 200 yards.
We caught up to Lucion while he was boarding a bus to return home for a short rest and asked him on what he though of his performance this season,
"Well, I havn't been the best Quaterback I could have been this year, and wish I could have changed this throw here or here, but the support from my teammates has really allowed me to keep trying and not to get down."
On any criticism from the defense,
"They had a lagitinmate reason they were going out and working there @## off this year, and here I was making a bad mistake and making them go out again, so I don't blame them, but it was constructive critism and they never came out and said I sucked or said I should be replaced they just wanted me to perform better."
And on the whole team,
" There a great bunch from our GM Rhonin who has done an incrediable job, to our kicker who has missed some but has made all of the important ones, my line protects me my recievers catch em, and I get all the credit and critism."
Well that was all he had to say before he left, and it looks like he may have put in good enough of a perfromance for one last looks at him for the Suicide car Bombers, but has to preform consistanly at a high level if wishes to keep a starting Job in this league.
With the Car Bombers taking on Cobra Kai or called Kobra Cai by some within the Bombers organization, it is looking to be a great game and we hope to see many enthusiastic fans out there.
