Will never happen. Then GLB would lose some ambiguity and that doesn't seem to be the goal.

true some things will, but we stole the football game from the NFL and the NCAA and highschool football and middle school and community. its just a football game honestly. it would be different if it was a suggestion like put a truck underneath a certain HB like in madden but its just a football game. and in football when u get a safety you punt the ball. so not trying to steal like that idea or anything. just a easy suggestion to make the game even better.

The official rule of real football is that you get to choose to kick off or punt, a punt isn't automatic, so this suggestion is simply half of what would make it real.

In the NFL, teams punt, because punts are returned for TDs at a lower % than kick offs are. In GLB, punts are returned for TDs at a higher % than kickoffs are, I'd rather keep it like it is.

Also, if you want to make the rule more like real life, should the kick/punt be from the 20 yard line?
