Warrior General Games

So this morning I had a talk with my partner in crime, GameDCoder. He needs a break from the game, badly. The Wall has always pretty much been a one-man show, with me just being the mouthpiece and doing the finances and a tiny bit of the recruiting.

GameDCoder is the brains of the team, and it's just too damned much work for one guy, but he and I both know that if we handed part of it to someone else, we'd still want to meddle in it...

The choice, while painful, is really the best one. We're shutting down The Berlin Wall.

It has really been a heck of a lot of fun dueling you guys. Particularly the top-tier teams, who had me hitting refresh dozens of times each game day to get the results as soon as possible.

We're not quitting completely just yet, but it just isn't fair to all the excellent players on The Wall to ask them to stay on an abandoned team.

Keep the trash talk going, have fun, and we'll see you around.

Will be sad to see such a well-run franchise leaving. RIP Wall.

It has been fun playing against you guys, and I have also enjoyed the Monte Carlo guys livening up the forums over the seasons, I just don't have time for this anymore.

I also wanted to say that we have a lot of great players and agents on the Wall that are now going to be looking for another team, and I would highly recommend them, so keep that in mind if you are looking to pick up some great talent for your own teams.

I can't speak for all of them, but I do know for certain that the agent (flemmingtime) of our QB and one of our WRs is welcoming PMs from teams that are interested in his players. His QB, Montana, did very well (#1 passer last season, and probably would have been this season if I hadn't switched to doing a bit more running), especially given the level of the competition.

It's pretty obvious the Wall have some great builds.
