We didn't talk shit all season long and then you guys go and get bitter? Granted... Dragon didn't need to boast, but I think it was just his way of showing some team love for winning the championship.

Good luck to the rest of A8 wherever you land with the reshuffling. Looks like we'll be headed to WE AA with this win... as will Ukraine and 1 or 2 of the rest of you. So to them, see you again soon. Everyone will finally be very evenly matched in levels to our team in the AA so whoever gets promoted make sure you start recruiting now.

Not bitter. Been with you for two seasons now. We have gotten along. Love your team and yuo guys take a beating on the boards for being over leveled and handle it with class.....

But that doesnt mean im not going to call out a RB who should be in Pro ball when he starts his own congratulations thread for winning an A league title. I am hoping we will be able to avoid the "cloud" and move up alongsie you. And by alongside I mean int he other conference again.

EDIT: And in case oyu didnt see it in the GG thread I congratulate you on your victory. Ukraine is a worthy opponent. I fear my chance at winning a trophy may have passed with us being a 2nd tier(lvl wise) team and getting bumped up the last two seasons.....

It'll be okay Crit...we'll be a 3rd tier team in AA next season...that'll help...

I know recruiting sucks when you've got great agents, but eventually the creme does settle. Stick with it. Once your guys hit 50's I think it's less about who has uber builds and more about who's builds are more rounded combined with strong OC/DC and scouting. You know you guys have that... your time will come, you'll have to take a beating for a season or two while your builds round out to compete with the higher level guys.

Got a few 50+s coming in but the problem with that (and the problem you will face as well) is after next season those players begin to decline.... interesting to see where we go fromt here.

I'm thinking it'll be easier to recruit then...all those players created before season 4 when over 1000 teams were released- we'll have 3 seasons before they start to decline . Personally, looking forward to seeing some of the "mighty" at the top fall to make room for us...

Yea teams that have been loyal will be rewarded. Also, teams that have good farm systems will really be the only top teams to maintain.

Also, I don't think the decline will be that big for the 10 season guys. It'll take a few seasons before they retire..I think Bort said about the 14th season when you should start thinking about retirement.

No one knows the rate of decline. Bort himself in GLB Radio (not this last weekend's, but the one before) said in his interview that they're re-thinking how much they decline or even making them decline at all. Don't bank on what you think is going to happen in future seasons. You have to recruit for the now. Like back in Season 1 and 2 before Agility was big... Speed was everything. Then over the course of the following 7 seasons Agility was given more importance for the OL's, DL's, and receivers. So builds change... rules change... live in the season that you're in for this Beta game. Right now attracting 50+ level players is a great idea for yourself!!

I for one don't want my QB to die. LOL So I'm pulling for the least amount of decline as possible.

yeah as I understand you just wont be able to boost after season 10 and then the decline will begin to be prevelant around season 13. But lets be honest... these slowbuild guys and better built guys from season 3-4 will dominate us.

Meh, I think the season 1'ers will hold there own for as long as they don't decline... This is the first I've heard of a non ability to boost. GLB is a cash cow... and all about cash. I honestly can't imagine them not allowing them to boost as that is their bread and butter. If they don't allow them to boost they may as well make them decline as they won't make the site any money.
