Well here it is folks, down to the BIG ONE, BBB#6 Championship game and two cracking, well deserved teams duking it out for the ultimate title. Both teams have been awesome throughout the season and the Stirling Schiltron are unbeaten to date, can they continue with another victory in the Championship game? Or will the Chieftains bring another unbeaten record to an end like they managed with the Oslo Tigers?
Here are my thoughts......
Stirling 13-23 Cambridge
Two extremely well matched teams make the Bowl Game. Stirling unbeaten to date; Cambridge, only lost the once but an impressive victory in the Alpha Conference Game against the unbeaten Tigers. Stirling have been pulling off impressive scores week in; week out and have not really been troubled by anyone.
The computer says the Chiefs have this one by a TD & a FG.
I am not so sure that any victory between these two teams will be as great.
The Chiefs have been winning their games with outstanding Special Teams play, amongst other things and no doubt this will be a potent weapon in their armoury for the Bowl Game.
Stirling’s offensive line has been potent also with their running game posting some impressive stats.
Who to go with? I think I am going to go with Cambridge (and the computer on this one). I have bet against Cambridge too often and ended up with egg on my face (so I expect that’s a nail in the coffin for the Chiefs seeing as I am tipping them!).
