Wondering how many teams will move up. Probably a little bigger this season with the media revenue and the restructure.

Everything from BBB to A is going to thrown into a level appropriate league, in a giant "cloud system" like the D-leagues and Casual. Probably won't be seeing any of you after this season.

from what I have read the top 4 teams from each division will be moved up to AA and given 6 million to help try to even the level of competition with the other AA teams. the others will go into a cloud system and be redistributed in supposedly evenly competetive leagues.

You have to take into account replacing CPU teams too so there should be more than 4 from each league moving up.

yeah I agree but I was just saying that the basic plan was for the top 4 from each league would go up. then you would take into account the demoted teams and also the CPU's so there could be as many as 10 to 12 teams moving up for season 10.

A lot of teams in Canada AAA are folding or starting over as slow builds so there might be more promotions than usual but factor in the new restructuring and anything could happen.
from what I have read it is based on the playoffs basically if you won your first game in the playoffs you are assured of being promoted.

Normal promotion will still happen for all uncapped leagues, one last time. So, those teams in the current uncapped A's who have won will get to move up, and the losing squads in AA will get to move down.
The currently uncapped A leagues WILL BE GETTING SHUFFLED this off season as well, after that initial promotion, just like we did with the other leagues last off season. I wasn't sure we'd need it last season, but it looks like a necessity now.
From this I believe that the existing leagues will be gone. People will be in new homes based on levels and a similar records. This is the worst part of this change IMHO. This means teams that are not promoted will be in the same leagues anymore. This will destroy a lot of good rivals.... maybe?

Well, I was really wondering if anyone has counted up the CPUs and made an estimation on the average number of teams getting promoted from A Leagues.
I hope the Top 5 in the West move up. I've grown kind of attached to you guys.![](/images/game/forum/smileys/biggrin.gif)

My guess is that 8 teams will drop from AA#2 to the A#3 and A#4
So my guess is the 2 conference winners and then 1 team from the west and 1 from the east making for a total of 4 moving up. 2 more might go if 2 more teams go CPU
