Looks to be a pretty simple first round I don't see many chances for upsets



Dundee Destroyers vs. Dublin Pirates - First meeting was close the second may be even closer these are two very evenly matched teams both with very solid Defense and good Offenses.

Pirates by +3 (Pirates win by+17)


Ramstein Red Devils vs. Stockholm Matadors - Matadors are folding after the season so is there heart into the game? only one of two teams to hand the Red Devils a loss this season.. The Devils were my pick early on to be the Alpha champs and play in the championship game

Red Devils revenge win by +32 (Red Devils win by +58)


Reichenberg Red Knights vs. Lyon Lightning - Lightning just have not been able to put it all together this season and the Red Knights are surging

Red Knights by +50 (Red Knights win by +44)


Copenhagen Drakkar vs. Penzance Mutiny - Deja Vu didn't we just see this match up? might be the best match up of the 1st round whomever wins have the unenviable task of facing the Red Devils in round #2

Drakkar by +10 (Drakkar wins by +6)

Should be an interesting first round. I agree with half your predictions. I don't see Dundee losing in the first round *WRONG* and I see the Matadors playing up to their competition (like they have all season) for their last hurrah in the big leagues. I don't think they will win, but should keep it closer that 32 *WRONG*.

GG everyone there was really no defensive game plan in place for our game although our OC tried to put something together. Good luck to everyone that survived round 1 and bring home the gold to Alpha again.
