my question is.... how the hell did the Jacks become the #2 seed?

Pretoria dropped that game to the dangerous African Preds, which ultimately was the extra loss that pushed them down to #3. But, for the Jacks' accomplishment, they were rewarded a game against Niger. Not exactly a cracker jack box prize.

And Pretoria gets to tangle with that same Preds team that turned it on later in the season. There is going to be at least one monster team left in AAA2 next season becuz both of those teams have Pro ability.

OK - I know the bars don't mean anything, but where is the advantage between the two teams? I'm reaching the conclusion that levels mean more than builds. I don't like it, but I'm starting to lean that way. Somebody talk me out of it please.

ahhh the Preds again, do they continue to exact revenge against us for the early dominance we displayed against them? 2 days will tell!

Having Pro ability doesnt mean that you'll be unbeatable. It just means that you'll hold your own. Just about every top team here in AAA2 (and some middle of the pack ones) would compete up there.

the step from AAA to Pro is indeed large

we had a couple of games in Pro that a different gameplan would have resulted in a win, but overall, we were fairly over matched in APL last season (losing the Oline hurt, but we just weren't as deep as others)

I was surprised we ended up relegated, but being in the thick of a playoff race is better

And your game plan was faulty, since you seemed to use a similar game plan to when you 1st played the Boston Dogs. If you're going to give us a sample, the least you could do is not taint it.

Never would have guessed it coming into the season. Looks like our stint in AAA will be brief...

Great season all looking forward to the playoffs.

I wonder how Wild jumped ahead of us in the standing when we had a 3 way tie after game 15 and we were ranked ahead of all tied teams. However after this week they only out scored us by 5 this week? Was it that close in over all points I have not taken the time to add them up.

It doesnt matter either seed has a tough game vs Ocho or Ec'i. And winner of either still had to face either Tusken or Gunston.

Bottom line you gotta beat a good team no matter what in AAA in the playoffs.

First time up is usually a tough adjustment for each level IMHO. I mean we have our certain teams if I recall Toro's last year but usually a learning curve and I would expect more adjustments in PRO then at most if not all past promotions.

That so called best team didnt even play the game straight up.. Gunston threw 53 passes in that game.. how is that matchup indicative of anything, other than you have proven that you know how to throw games with the best of them.
