Here we go folks last regular season week. Only doubts seem to be in regards to last couple of playoff spots but because all playoff contenders have matches against top of the conference opponents, I dont think the existing situation will change.

ALPHA CONFERENCE

Monaco 16-74 Palermo

Computer is all to cock on this one, I’ll say Sharks for the win.

Copenhagen 33-28 Bern

Inferno need to win this one and hope Fanzone 9ers lose in order to grab a playoff spot. BUT I think the Cunning Stunts will be too strong.

Oslo 185-2 New York

Ouch! Poor old NY, it doesn’t get any better.

Paris 49-22 Detroit

Nothing game but the Superbes will live up to their name this time.

Langenfeld 39-13 Langen

Although they need to win this to guarantee the last playoff spot, I think the Longhorns will be too strong. However, my tip is the Fanzone 9ers to maintain no.8 spot due to the Inferno losing out to the Cunning Stunts.

Cambridge 54-6 Inverness

Monsters lucky the Inferno and Fanzone 9ers have tough last games or their playoff spot could have been in doubt; easy win for the Chieftains in what will be a copy of the first play-off game.

Las Vegas 40-15 Buffalo

Las Vegas hold all the Aces in this game.

Hamburg 17-69 Lowestoft

Trawlermen will be too strong and hold on to that last homefield advantage spot.


ZETA CONFERENCE

Marshfield 40-29 D-Lightening

Lightening will lose this one but I think they will hold on to that last playoff spot due to results elsewhere; although since that puts em up against Stirling is that a good thing??

Bornholm 133-3 Athens

What can I say?

Stirling 134-5 Hamburg

Schiltron could field their 2nd string and still win this one.

Wichita 27-48 Helsinki

Another meaningless game in terms of the playoffs, sees the Fish victorious.

Natal 13-30 Sexintown

Rubbers will spoil Hellboys chance of a play-off spot.

Rome 42-26 Gascony

Should be game of the week in the Conference.

Bieflefeld 5-73 Pa Pa Dong’s

Easy win for Dragons to keep homefield advantage.

Zurich 39-15 KC Belgian

Another meaningless game in terms of the playoffs, sees the Capitals victorious.

I hope your wrong. The dots of Bern will have something to say about this.

Play offs a different story. We will have to see how that goes Hairy . GG last night though , there were periods of the game where you made our O look quite ordinary and if you can do that for the whole game who knows what will happen. One thing is for sure its going to be in front of a packed stadium , first playoff game for both our teams I think !

Great job guys for a wonderful regular season. GG's D-Lightning and the other teams. Good Luck in the playoffs. It is going to be one hell of a ride.

wow, that was close. 8-8 but in the playoffs. ok, don't think that we might have a chance facing the Oslo Tigers in the first round but it doesn't matter. was a tough season for us as both our dc's didn't have any time for scouting our opponents during the second half of the season. also we had some problems on the offensive side of the ball.

so we are satisfied with having made the playoffs. would be great to stay in this league, and if there would be only 4 teams leaving the league (2 at the top and 2 at the bottom of the league) this could be a nice, competitive league next season.
