Tonight's game, Revelstoke vs.Warren, could determine home field advantage for the playoffs. I just want to wish Warren good luck and looking forward to a tough game. To all the other teams jockeying for a playoff spot, good luck to you as well.

Eastern Conference/Conférence Est
1 Revelstoke Reapers 14-0-0

Next opponents: #3 Warren Brotherhood Havasuvians, #5 St John's Legends

Outlook: The former Saguenay Falcons can claim homefield advantage throughout the playoffs with a win over the Havasuvians. A loss dumps Revelstoke into a potential three-way tie, and two losses... you don't want to go there.

Possible seeding: #1 (win over Warren / win & Warren loses / lose to Warren & win three-way tiebreaker), #2 (lose to Warren, multiple scenarios), #3 (lose both)

2 Red River Wolverines 13-1-0

Next opponents: Barkmere Bulldawgs, Montreal Storms

Outlook: Red River has been on a tear this season, defeating most of their opponents by multiple scores. Expect that to continue through the end of the season.

Possible seeding: #1 (wins both & Warren wins both / win and lose & Revelstoke loses both & Warren wins and loses), #2 (Revelstoke wins over Warren / multiple scenarios), #3 (Warren wins over Revelstoke & Red River loses three-way tiebreaker / loses both & Warren wins or ties)

3 Warren Brotherhood Havasuvians 13-1-0

Next opponents: #1 Revelstoke Reapers, #6 Quebec Boreal

Outlook: Last season's BBB #11 champions could still very well be this season's A #6 champions. We'll know more after their game against the Reapers.

Possible seeding: #1 (wins both & Revelstoke wins or Red River loses / wins both & Revelstoke wins & Red River wins both & Warren wins three-way tiebreaker), #2 (multiple scenarios), #3 (wins both & Revelstoke wins & Red River wins both & Warren loses three-way tiebreaker / loses, multiple scenarios)

4 Cross City Renegades 10-4-0

Next opponents: #5 St John's Legends, Niagara Falls Body Snatchers

Outlook: Cross City needs a win for morale if anything, having lost two heartbreakers in a row, but a win also secures a home playoff game.

Possible seeding: #4 (win over St John's / lose to St John's & wins three-way tiebreaker with St John's and Quebec), #5 (multiple scenarios), #6 (multiple scenarios), #7 (loses both, multiple scenarios), #8 (loses both & Wrightstown wins both & Sainte-Foy wins both & Cross City loses three-way tiebreaker)

5 St John's Legends 9-5-0

Next opponents: #4 Cross City Renegades, #1 Revelstoke Reapers

Outlook: So much for the easy part of the season, eh? The hot-and-cold Legends hold few tiebreakers over the teams beneath them, so they'll need some wins to stay on top.

Possible seeding: #4 (win both / win & Cross City loses both & Quebec loses), #5 (multiple scenarios), #6 (multiple scenarios), #7 (multiple scenarios), #8 (loses both & Quebec wins & Wrightstown wins & Sainte-Foy wins)

6 Quebec Boreal 9-5-0

Next opponents: #8 Sainte-Foy Nordiques, #3 Warren Brotherhood Havasuvians

Outlook: The Boreal have their playoff berth sown up, and they'll need some help to get a higher seed since they don't hold any tiebreakers over the teams above them.

Possible seeding: #4 (wins both & Cross City loses both & St John's loses), #5

7 Wrightstown Tigers 8-6-0

Next opponents: Iqaluit Arctic Wolves, Halifax Sharks

Outlook: A win will assure the Tigers a playoff spot, and a tiebreaker over St John's will help should the Legends slip.

Possible seeding: #5 - out

8 Sainte-Foy Nordiques 8-6-0

Next opponents: #6 Quebec Boreal, Michigan Mastadons

Outlook:

Possible seeding: #5 - out

Iqaluit Arctic Wolves 6-8-0

Next opponents: #7 Wrightstown Tigers, Thunder Bay Thunderheads CPU

Outlook:

Possible seeding: #7 (wins both & Wrightstown loses both & Sainte-Foy loses both & Iqaluit wins multi-way tiebreaker), #8 (wins both & Wrightstown loses both / wins both & Wrightstown loses both & Sainte-Foy loses both & Iqaluit splits multi-way tiebreaker), out (wins both & Wrightstown loses both & Sainte-Foy loses both & Iqaluit loses multi-way tiebreaker / multiple scenarios)

Niagara Falls Body Snatchers 6-8-0

Next opponents: Halifax Sharks, #4 Cross City Renegades

Outlook: The good news is that the Body Snatchers defeated the Nordiques earlier this season, so a tie would go to Niagara Falls. The bad news is that they have to win both games to force any sort of tie.

Possible seeding: #8 (wins both, multiple scenarios), out (multiple scenarios)

Eliminated from postseason:
Montreal Storms 5-9-0
Halifax Sharks 4-10-0
Michigan Mastadons 3-11-0
New Jax City Hustlers 1-13-0
Barkmere Bulldawgs 1-13-0
Thunder Bay Thunderheads CPU 0-14-0

Sorry for the incompleteness. It was a beautiful day in la belle province , so I spent most of the day getting some things done around the house before heading across town to the Bear Pit for the game. Since most of the scenarios are convoluted anyway, I'll update once the games have been played. Good luck to all of the teams still in contention!

No problem. My head hurt from figuring it out. Sleep helped.

Some notes about the three-way scenarios: in the event of a three-way tie between Wrightstown, Quebec and St John's, all three teams would be 1-1 in head-to-head competition. The next tiebreaker is total points scored, where St John's has a 137-point and a 263-point lead over Quebec and Wrightstown, respectively. Because scores are capped at 255, St John's can't lose the three-way tiebreaker and Wrightstown can't win it.

In the event of a three-way tie between St John's, Wrightstown and Sainte-Foy, Wrightstown would win based on their 2-0 record in head-to-head competition, with Sainte-Foy (1-1) and St John's (0-2) following.

If QB stays at 5th, then CCR plays them in the first round?

To be honest this game does worry me a bit. Those 2 loses toward the end of the season are still fresh on CCR minds. With that said I'm looking forward to a tough match-up and may the best team( everyone knows it CCR ; ) )win.

Best of luck to all the teams in the playoffs.
