Bleh... I've seen better weeks to pay attention to.

Really there were only four games of note this week: the Prague Predators over the Ice Dragons (where was the defense, boys); the Arctic Wolves over the Odyssey; the Brazov's domination of the ƒòRçè; and dare I say the President's "must win" against Serbia to clean up our playoff outlook.

I'll give you that. 2 gains of 65+ yards doesn't help much on the dot morale.

Yeah, I put in an entirely new defense for the game, focused on stopping the run, especially the QB rush. I knew we might be in trouble if they threw the ball a lot. I would say 59 passes (compared to 15 rushes) would qualify as a lot. Bad plan be me, good plan by them. Luckily they didn't plan for Jarius and we were able to match them score for score. I'll take the #2 seed and not look back.

Oh, and the dots throwing and catching were 40 somethings, while we were trying to guard them with high 20s. Probably didn't help either.

One of our late season pickups. Our running game was getting shut down before.

The defensive passing game still held up against them they just had strong WRs that broke a lot of tackles.

I get a kick out of looking at this, but please put the Juggernauts above the Nuclear Mutants!

Does beating them 76-10 AND having a better record not at least get us one spot ahead of them?

That's one of the most valid gripes I've seen, tbh.

I won't be changing the formulas this season, but I intend on doing an overhaul over the off-season, putting a little more emphasis on wins and quality of play, as well as "offset stats" like the negative play calculation with fumbles and INTs/sacks. I'll definitely take my subjective views to see if I can match the computer output to what I'd do if I personally reviewed the teams.
