This is easy guys what 2 teams will represent each league in the championship and who will be the champions? this is just a matter of opinion so feel free to explain your thoughts here. this is just to get some friendly banter going before the playoffs.

I think it's going to be PoF versus any of 4 teams from Alpha; BORO, Venetian, Tomsk or St Pete. The playoffs and these last 3 games (for us mainly) are going to be pretty exciting in Alpha.

BORO is looking strong in the Alpha, but I think a lot will depend on how and when they boost. If they can afford to boost the majority of their team they should be able to win, they are great game planners. The Purveyors are clearly the favorite going into the Zeta post season, but Roslov and Samara are both great teams and could easily come away with it. So my completely biased opinion is BORO and PoF with PoF narrowly winning the championship. I gotta root for the home team you know..

I think it comes down to BORO and the blinds whoever wins the regular season game gets the #1 seed and the easiest route to the championship. the assassins could easily throw their hat into the ring also. I think it will be POF in the other conference barring a huge upset in my mind.

I am not giving up yet. I think we can keep it close if our AI functions properly. Right now I am fully concentrated on the Roslov game which, IMO is going to be the best matchup of the season.

Thanks for the kind words, but we haven't really been tested yet either and the Blinds, Assasins and Saints are a lot tougher than they were last year.

Dont forget the Stoners, we can still reach that 4th seed, with some help, but PoF I think will take it all, but it wont be easy Alpha has a few teams that can put up a fight

for sure, the alpha 4th seed race is tense, but I'd be surprised if the saints take it (we still play boro). the other two i expect to win out from here on in.

Every season there is an overwhelming favorite for one reason or another but it doesn't mean that any of the top seeded teams can't come out on top. I find it hard to believe that this league has been determined from day 1 to go to anybody. There are many 'features' and factors that go into the final box score . Everyones favorite from Alpha certainly didn't win last season did they? Good luck to PoF and BORO but the road to the ship starts in round one and looking beyond that is silly.

True that.

In fact last season was a prime example of it. I totally thought that Brno Infrno was the hands down favorite, and in the regular season they looked un-beatable. But Kyrvy Rig managed to pull the upset. So its never set in stone.

I agree. That's going to be one hell of a game.

Very true nothing is set in stone and on any given day anyone can win. but you guys know as well as I do everyone has teams that they put extra time into to try to get a little edge to get a big win. For us at the blinds it is Boro, Tomsk and St.Petersburg we have played these guys for a season or 2 and all games have been very good. I have to say with Boro's defense they are the favorite in our conference but it could go to either tomsk, or the blinds also. as far as the other conference I just don't see anyone beating POF but I am not gonna just hand them the championship if they face Boro, Tomsk or the Blinds they will be in for a helluva game. as I don't think any of us are gonna roll over and play dead. good luck everyone and lets all have a great playoff race.

Its talk like that that I am refering to. You'll hand PoF the conference no ?'s asked but then when it comes to the championship its 'any given sunday' . PoF can be beat with a balanced game plan. Period. Why any one writes off the rest of the teams is beyond me. For what its worth, we held PoF to their season low in points scored, they only put one offensive TD on the board and we were more than competitive for a majority of the game. Their back to back pr / pick 6 seemed to put our team on a downward morale slide and other than that it was as close a game as we've played all season. Roslav/Samara will prolly take over that distinction tho and we are fully focused on stopping them first and then our 1st round playoff opponent.
