#1 -- LOL had a bye week (410 points against Durban) to prepare for the upcoming game against Sierra Leone. While LOL vs. DD might have been the game of the season, LOL vs. SLS just became very, very interesting.

#2 -- SLS moved up another spot with a solid 27-14 win over DD. With their final three games being against Durban (0-12), Cairo (6-6), and Zimbabwe (4-8), SLS is undefeated in Elephant and would almost certainly lock up a #1 seed in the playoffs with a win against LOL.

#3 -- Curiouser and curiouser. DD dropped one spot after losing to SLS but, with only Somalia remaining on the schedule as a legitimate threat, should be in fine shape for the playoffs. Tea Baggins appears to be intentionally under-utilized at the moment. One rumor is that Tea's brother, "Shoeless" Joe Baggins, had money on SLS.

#4 -- Despite losing a second straight game (36-43 to Nairobi), DeSWK remained in first place in Lion and unchanged in the rankings. DeSWK vs. WWR in week 15 could decide Lion's #1 seed.

#5 -- ASM lost to the Rhinos 10-30 but stayed put in the rankings. Barely. It's not likely to be much easier against Sahara this week either with a home playoff game potentially on the line.

In the rest of the top 10:

* Somalia moved up to #6 after defeating Congo 36-23
* Seychelles Island dropped to #7 despite a 282-0 win against the disbanding Zambia Lions
* Sahara held onto #8 with an 86-10 win over Pangani
* Windhoek jumped to #9 with the 30-10 victory against ASM
* TLGoT stayed at #10 with a 51-20 turnover-filled game against SoA

Curiouserer imo

I'm beginning to wonder whether we would still be around 6/7 if we won out. We just can't seem to move up.

I think we've surprised a few teams that thought they'd walk on us, I'm pretty sure we at least scare shadowchasers, rhinos and Spidermonkeys. He'll watching those games, there were parts in all of them up until the 4th quarter that I thought we might pull it out.
