I say for defense forget pressure with your D-line.

Make all your D-linemen complete run stuffers. Take all of them straight to 79 strength, then 74 agility, then 68 tackling then 61 speed. All equipment in strength. DEs on the outside 1/2 of OTs, DTs on outside 1/2 of OGs.

With your safeties, take them straight to 74 speed, then 74 agility, then 61 vision, 48 strength/tackling and load them up with 10 first step. 1 piece of equipment in agility, the rest in speed. Line them up outside and blitz them every down.

Your LBs, 3rd cap agility, 2nd cap tackling, 3rd cap speed, 1st cap vision, 1st cap confidence, 2nd cap vision, 1st cap strength. All equipment in speed. Play them 5 yards off LOS with MLB over C, and OLBs over the OTs and assign them to cover TE, FB & HB. Give them all multiple pass coverage assignments like

MLB: HB or FB or TE
ROLB: FB or HB or WR 1
LOLB: TE or WR2

Move CBs 5 yards off LOS as well, and they are man up on the WRs.

A good OC would rip that defense to shreds . . .

It would depend on several factors.

There are 2 factors

1 Does the D-line dominate the LOS
2 Do the blitzers get to the QB before a WR can break open

That defense does extremely well against the run with DE/LB/SS builds that aren't even suited for it.

LMAO! if Bort made players for real he would probably destroy this game. He created the thing. haha

I agree that if you control the team, you don't necessarily need the best build guys. You need to optimize the scheme. I'd start by being a DC for a couple seasons until you get real comfortable with that.

I have a DC, I run the offense

just make all cookie cutter builds but prefect them
