Da NOLA Brah!!! K&B Purples v Manhattan Massacre
A bit of a light week, but this certainly qualifies for GoTW status. Da NOLA is looking very solid for the playoffs, so this is a seeding game for them. For Manhattan, this is more about survival. Manhattan and Da NOLA had similar results against Buffalo and Pitt. Manhattan is really lamenting that loss to Welsh at this point. I think Da NOLA pulls out what should be a very good game. Welsh has some good pieces to build on and I suspect they threaten for the playoff next season. Furious 135, Welsh 3.
Montana Grizzlies v Houghton Gremlins
This used to be an awesome rivalry game. Montana 200, Houghton 0.
Atlanta Wolves v New Orleans Poison
NO showed they still have that old fight as they scored more points against Furious than anyone so far. Atlanta 175, New Orleans 7.
Maine Hawks v Detroit Diablos
That 5 game losing streak is probably really hurting Detroit's morale at this point. Maine 55, Detroit 10.
Martha's Vineyard v Buffalo Beasts
This is the other GoTW candidate. MV is just more solid than most teams but have been a bit off this season. Buffalo is making their new signature late season run at the playoffs. This has the potential to be fascinating, but I like MV's linebacking corps to make enough big plays. Martha's Vineyard 31, Buffalo 24.
Pittsburgh Powerhouse v Detroit Outlaws
Both teams are on losing streaks, but Pitts is for a bit better reason. Pittsburgh 57, Detroit 13.
Vice City Mambas v Bowdoin Polar Bears
Vice City really needs to pull it together fast or they fall out of the playoff race. Bowdoin has the potential to jump up and bite on occasion, but VC just needs it more. Vice City 35, Bowdoin 13.
