It's a little too quiet for my taste here in A7W so i'll throw something out there.
Cupcakes-
Waco vs. Chicago- the davidians can sleepwalk this one and still manage to score on a Chicago club that just hasn't performed. Waco by 52
Noobs vs. Ambridge- Scarlet make it a fair fight and just have 1 person on defense. You'd still win by at least 30 points. Noobs by 37
Oakland vs. RGB- Oakland is taking on water but it's still a win for them. Oak by 14
The real battles are:
Las Vegas vs. Bel Air- Las Vegas needs to win to keep it's position or even move up to the #4 spot but they have to beat the hottest team in the A7W. I'm not convinced it happens. Bel Air by 10
Miami vs. Scottsdale- Scottsdale pulled the upset against Oakland, can they keep the momentum against a talented but underperforming miami team? The answer is yes. Scottsdale by 7
Grand Haven vs. Portland- A battle between two teams that may take the league by storm next season. Portland's aerial assault against the Mist's defense. Portland by 7
Dallas vs. Great Plains- The Reapers are the better team on paper but seem to have leveled off some since the loss to Bel Air. They know how to win close one's (Spice, Scotts) but Dallas's defense is formidable. I'm the OC for Dallas so I'm biased but I would say whichever unit dominates (Reaper's O or Dallas's D) will win this in a close, hard fought game. Dallas by 3
Hartford vs Spicewood- Hartwood is going to want to play spoiler to those that occupy it's early season spot. That puts Spice in their crosshairs, can they pull the trigger. Spicewood by 7
Again this is all my own opinion, let me know what you think.
p.s. Owners/GM's that gave me information for an article about foundations, I still plan to post it but i found out that i'm not that witty or engaging of a writer and more of it found it's way into the trash than onto the page. So, I plan on doing more work on it this weekend and it should come out on Sunday or Monday.
