Western Conference
1. Carolina Guard: Demolition Derby against Levy.
2. PeeWee Villainous Heroes: Rebounded defensively against the Demigods, but their offense needs work. They need a win against the Stingrays to be considered serious contenders.
3. Phoenix Blaze: Won bigger than expected. I expect them to jump to the 2 spot next week.
4. San Diego Stingrays: Won, but not nearly as impressive as the Blaze's. Next week's showdown will be intense, as it will determine (at least in these rankings) who won't have to face the Guard in the 2nd round in the playoffs.
5. Iron Men Of The South: Very good win against an evenly matched team. This team is looking like it's coming together, and next week will tell the truth.
6. Tokyo Ichiban: Good win, but is focused on next week's showdown for the 5 spot in their game against the South (my prediction: South by 35).
7. Olympia Demigods: In 5 losses, they've only score 38 points, or roughly 7 ppg. Their offense needs to step up.
8. New York Nightmare: Played Tokyo well.
9. Channel Four News Team Smelly Pirate Hookers: A bad last two weaks have hurt them, but they're still in the playoff hunt.
10.San Antonio Punishers: Will be blown out next week, but have played well of late.
11. Washington Renegades: Won big over the Guppies, who are dead in the water. Next week's game against New York will be very big for them. Huge dropoff here after the Renegades.
12. Mini Rats: Blown out by a solid Phoenix team.
13. Steve McWhorters Nevis Sporting Ants of Nevis: Ouch.
14. Margaritaville Guppies: Have all but given up.
15. Los Angeles Speedsters: They need to work on their tactics, in particular their defense.
16. Levy Retards: Computer
Eastern Conference
1. Indianapolis Gasser's: Cemented its status as the #1 team, and probably won't be giving it up until the championship game.
2. South Central Muddogs: Not as big of a win as one might want.
3. PeeWee 69'ers: Easy victory again.
4. U.S. Marshal's: Defense carries them to win, and they are now the established 4 team.
5. Gilbert Yellow Jackets: Win over the Raiders!?!? WOW!!!
6. Chicopee Raiders: Played very poorly, and lost to a clearly inferior Yellow Jackets team drops them WAY down. Let's see if they can prove me wrong, and rebound these next couple of weeks.
7. Midland Midgets: Impressive win over Megalodon.
8. Megalodon Pups: After playing their incredibly hard schedule, they are rewarded with a date with the Gasser's. I almost feel sorry for this team. Almost.
9. Cincinnati Winged Devils: A loss to the Yellow Jackets isn't what they needed for their playoff hopes.
10.THE RACE TRACK POCKET JOCKEYS: Muddogs this week, 69'ers next. Let's see if they can salvage a split after playing the muddogs very well, especially the offense.
11. Fairfield Falcons: Small rebound, but I don't think it will be enough. They need a strong push to get into the playoffs.
12. Warwick Wonderkids: Oof!
13. Amish Army: DIdn't play horrible, but they need an offense.
14. Hartford Helmcrackers: Meh
15. Tecmo Super Bowlers: Meh
16. Notre Dame Fight Irish : CPU
Let's get some more discussion going over these! Right now, I don't see the Guard or the Gasser's being seriously challenged...
