Now that we over the halfway point the playoff picture is becoming more clear. Reichenberg Red Knights are the clear front runners to win Alpha with 2 easy games then it is a clash with the Ramstein Red Devils in an away game where the Devils want to prove they belong to stay in the top 4. If the Devils do win this game then that would throw the Alpha conference into a scramble mode with all top eight teams fighting it out for the number 1 position with the edge going to Copenhagen. If the devils lose they could end up on the outside of the top 4 and scrambling just to get a decent playoff position.
Stockholm and Copenhagen it is going to come down to their game to see who is the number 2 seed in the playoffs unless the Knights lose then this game will be of huge importance to see who will become 1 in the conference. They both have two tough games ahead before they both close out the season and it will the team that has the better game planning and confidence going in that will prevail.
Dublin Pirates have the hard part of their schedule now coming up and if they want to stay in the playoffs they are going to have to win at least 2 of the 3 games to keep ahead and have good position in the playoffs. Unfortunately they have the Red Knights, Macedonians, Destroyers and to win at least 1 of these games would be huge. If they succeed in winning at least 1 of these games they should be assured of no less than the 6th spot in the playoffs.
The 7th and 8th spot is up for grabs in the Alpha conference with 4 teams vying for those remaining spots. Macedonians may have lost any chance of making the playoffs at with the losses they have suffered this year and the whiskeys will definitely be fighting for one of those two spots. The other teams in Alpha are fighting not to be relegated and trying to remain in WE5 A
