It's that time again. We've collected enough data to do a reasonably accurate poll I suppose. As always I am sure I will get much disagreement along the way and that is part of the fun.
Instead of making a new thread each time, I will update and bump this one.
1. Furious George: Owner: Krunchy. Record: 12-0. Previous rank: 1. I think this is already a new record for holding onto the top spot as it seemed to switch every game or two last season. Quality Wins: Manhattan, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Da NOLA, Maine, Vice City. Losses: none.
2. Atlanta Wolves: Owner: Sequtugh. Record: 11-1. Previous rank: 2. Atlanta has quietly set themselves up for at least 14 wins, with the only game really in doubt against Montana in a couple of "weeks". Quality Wins: Manhattan, VC, Pittsburgh, Da NOLA, Maine. Losses: Furious.
3. Montana Grizzlies: Owner: LiquidSnake. Record: 11-1. Previous rank: 3. Montana has the most entertaining scheduling remaining, with 4 games against 4 possible playoff teams, including Atlanta and Furious. Should provide them with some excellent fine tuning for the playoffs and at least one home game. Quality Wins: Pittsburgh, Vice City, Martha's Vineyard. Losses: Maine.
4. Maine Hawks: Owner: Meech. Record: 10-2. Previous rank: 4. Unless either VC or Manhattan and jump up and bite them, Maine is looking at 14-2 and a home playoff game is all but certain. Quality Wins: Pittsburgh, Memphis, Martha's Vineyard, Montana, Da NOLA. Losses: Furious, Atlanta.
5. Pittsburgh Powerhouse Owner: bigbaldben. Record: 8-4. Previous rank: 5 Pitt is certain to have double digit wins in what has been a great turnaround. Interesting games remain against VC and Buffalo the last two weeks. Playoffs are a virtual lock. Losses: Maine, Furious, Atlanta, Montana.
6. Martha's Vineyard Ballbusters: Owner: REDBOSOX. Record: 8-4. Previous rank: 6. If 9 wins is enough for the playoffs, MV is in, but they have surprised me with some of their losses. Barring a turnaround, they will need to beat Da NOLA to get to 10 wins now. Quality Wins: Las Vegas, Vice City. Losses: Buffalo, Maine, Pittsburgh, Montana.
7. Da NOLA Brah!!! K&B Purples: Owner: onepeat. Record: 7-5. Previous rank: 7. Shocking margins of victory their last two games, one for and one against. They are in the same 9 to 10 win boat as MV. Quality Wins: Vice City. Losses: Manhattan, Furious, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Maine.
8. This spot is basically a 3-way death match with Vice City, Buffalo and Manhattan. <----still true. Manhattan looks to have the kindest schedule remaining.
