Istanbul is coming off a tough loss to the Warheads and seems to have lost their starting quarterback to a surprising midseason retirement, while Terlingua is basking in their newfound "passing game." This might not be a pretty one for Istanbul.

Prediction: Javelinas 54-14


Draguignan Dragons 83 at Ukrainian Warheads
If D83 wants to keep up with the playoff bubble, they MUST get a win here to kick off a long win streak. Ukraine, meanwhile, is part of a 5-way tie that currently stretches from the fifth seed to two spots out of the playoffs. A win against the Dragons can put them a game ahead of Istanbul and the loser of the Macedonia-Kiev tilt.

Prediction: Warheads 36-10


Kiev Cossacks at Macedonia Marauders
The winner of this game stays on the right side of the bubble. The loser likely falls to #9 in Zeta. Kiev became a favorite of the Predictions Staff after a 3 game streak put them right at the edge of the Zeta elite, but a two game losing skid has them back in the doghouse. I think this will be the closest game this week.

Prediction: Marauders 44-37


Spokane River Rats at Caspian Sea Dragons
Spokane, led by MVP candidate Bob Ceres, desperately needs a winning streak to put them back in playoff contention. The Sea Dragons are in a similar situation, desperately needing a win to stay in the playoff race. After an opening game win against Bucharest of Alpha, the Dragons have only managed wins against Zeta's bottom 4 teams.

Prediction: River Rats 28-21


Chernobyl Nuclear Assault at Helsinki Hell Raisers
Another win for Chernobyl could have them nipping at the tail of the #12 spot in Zeta!

Prediction: Nuclear Assault 120-6

Thundercats are sitting pretty good right now, with their schedule. You guys certainly arent without the potential of getting beat the rest of the way out but if I had to pick each individually I would say the Thundercats would win them all.

Great game Blaze! Our D gave up too many 3rd and longs and the one long swing pass for the TD by your hip-swiveling HB hurt to open the 4th.

Thanks, you guys played well also. I thought you may look at the pitch more so was a little prepared for it but not all out coverage for it. You managed a couple solid gains..20yder helped setup the TD in first to get you going. look forward to a rematch in the playoffs.....but for now....on to gameplanning the Mafia before our 3 "BYE" weeks.

We've had some good games in the past but seems they are not playing up to their potential though i understand scouting bars dont mean a ton. I'll have to actually do some gameplanning for them so not counting them as a BYE week. If all plays out as i hope it should be an interesting final week against the Romans for the #1 seed. That's if they get by the Terror in 2 weeks.

I see Romans getting 2 losses and Mafia getting 2-3... Javs for 2 seed!
