Warrior General Games

Hey guys, just wanted to give you all an update on what's been going on with me. For those of you who don't know me, I am a high school football coach. During spring football practice yesterday, one of my players took a hit to the chest. Me and the other coaches tried to revive him while the paramedics were on the way. When they got there we gave way and they began working on him. Unfortunately they were not able to revive him either and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. This has been a very tough tragedy for us to go through. He was a great kid too, as good as a coach could ever ask for. So please keep the family of Roy D. White III and the entire Cook High Hornet football family in your prayers. Thanks.

I am a high school coach as well (lacrosse), such things must be very difficult. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose one of my guys like that.

We kind of nonchalant it through those CPR classes, but it's serious business.

My heart goes out to the Cook High staff, players, and families.

my prayers are with his family and his teammates. its difficult to lose a friend at that age.

Sorry to hear about that bro, it's especially tough when you've got such a close knit group like that.

I also coach football and its always a fear to have a kid get hurt bad or something like this happen. Very sorry to hear about this man. Good luck to all of you and Dedicate this season to that young man.
