4.Ben- my 2nd choice for Game of the week. Ben is trying to get back into the top 3 and assure themselves some Home Play-off Games. Guam wants some Respect form the Top 5

6.Guam- Guam is Heading into a Showdown with the Sawfish As the Rebels were against Cob Last weak. Guam is looking for the Upset to show there no joke and are Rdy for all comers

7. WBH- this match up with FM is really important to both teams. they both are looking to get into the mix for a Home Play-off Game. WBH have 3 loss's all to teams above them in the Ranking Guam,Nor,Cob this team wins the games there suppose to but can they get that top 5 win?

8. FM- Trying to keep things locked up to stay in the Play-off Hunt. This game with WBH will be a Tru Test of Of the for the Nugg's Can they go on a roll and end up with a Home play-off game?

9. Steel- Game with VV is one they Have to win. Keeping the Play-off hopes alive. I see them bringing home a W in this one.

Why are Nor Peeps such Hater's? I could careless about a game when u held me to 2 FG and a Def TouchDown and could only mange 22 points.. I think that if i had held a teams Off out of the end zone an only allowed 2 FG i might want to win by More than 9 just a thought........ Thought I'd chime in as Norfolk's owner.

Rever, you do your rankings and we all appreciate them. No matter who does the rankings and what the rankings show there will always be somebody out there that feels slighted. That being said, i think it is Norfolk's turn to feel slighted. We beat Telstar, the #1 team, and held your stud HB to 83 yards and 0 TDs. We beat Bendigo. Sure, we're not blowing teams out 55-0. Yes, our offense does *just enough* to get the win and we rely on our defense to carry us. I seem to recall a Baltimore Ravens team doing this a few years back with some success. Pittsburgh has had a tremendous team for years while somehow still allowing their QB to end up on his butt 50 times per game. I just think that dropping us down in power rankings because "we rely on our defense" isn't really fair.

We screwed up and got beat by Cobden... I'm not saying we would have won if we had our AI issues resolved, but it certainly wouldn't have been a 26-0 drumming. Still, considering we spent an entire game running inside on 4th and 8 from our own 44 yard line and STILL only managed to lose 26-0 to a team as good as Cobden has to serve as a reminder of what a solid defense we actually have.

All things considered, I don't have any issue with the job you do. Nobody else does the power rankings and we all love to read them, I'm just taking the opportunity to defend the malcontent coming from the Norfolk faithful. If people didn't want to debate and argue over power rankings there wouldn't be a single ESPN call-in radio show.

Here's the interesting debate... You think we'll beat Tongan, who you rank as #2 overall. So you obviously respect us enough to think we're capable of pulling an upset like that. IF we manage to beat them how will the standings change for Week 11? And, if we lose, will we stay at #5 given our wins over the #1 and #4 teams or will we drop? Which ones would be the fluke.. the wins over Bendigo and Telstar or the losses to Cobden and Tongan?

It'll be an interesting evening of football.

Theres nothing i would rather do than put the Nor team as high as poss to make my own Loss look better . I Have only had the Rebels for 3 season and we came into the league (A1) with Ben, Sir, Gee,Drillers Etc.. if i am a lil partial to the Owners thats i have know for 3 or 4 season I apologize.. Easy is a Great owner and i really dont mean to keep shorting u guys. @ lest in ur eyes. Easy i am really not Trying to Down Nor or anything like that. its u guys that keep poking me in the eye. I mean I haven't done anything but put the ranking up and Doc comes with the "Could this have anything to do with Norfolk holding your offense to 2 FGs? Nah, probably not." I just think that was somewhat uncalled for. I Ofcourse understand that not all peeps are going to agree with me but do u really need to keep rubbing salt on the wound? If I over reacted than i am sorry. I think u have a top 4 team and i pickd u guys over Tong witch would put u there if not top 3.. I will admit i am a big time Viks fan and i know Skol is and me an DD have been going back and forth for like 3 seasons.. I really am trying to do this bracket with-out any Favoritism.
