Not that we would have made the playoffs either way, but it sucks we had to play Mudville as our cross conference opponent. GG on the rankings, although i hope they dont lead to another 20 post thread about where my team is ranked

BWA vs. San Jose Skyforce

Which team wants a home playoff game more? Big Whiskey is hanging tough and looks to have a favorable schedule going into the end of the season with only two more games against a team with a winning record after this one (Mudville and Oregon). The Skyforce have done admirably to turn their season around, but they do have a tougher row to hoe with upcoming games against Columbus, Oregon, and BMD. It is clear that the team that wins tomorrow's match will take an edge on landing that fourth and final home game for the first round of the playoffs. San Jose's defense has been stout lately and held the Bombers to only 41 points last game. They also forced 7 Bomber punts and returned a kickoff and interception for touchdowns against them. Is this smoke and mirrors, or are the skyforce for real? BWA makes no bones about their offensive strategy. They do their best to behave like the old "Greatest show on turf" St. Louis rams. They throw it and throw it and throw it. Catch them if you can. Can BWA ground the skyforce by taking to the air? We shall see...

BWA 27, Skyforce 31

Cuban Raft Riders vs. Florida BeachDogZ

If anyone thought Teikoku was going to roll Florida last week, then you're a better man than I. I didn't see that coming, and Florida are probably still a little shocked as well. You can rest assured that Cuban is studying that game film to see if they can exploit the weaknesses that Teikoku found in the Beachdog defense (328.5 yards rushing). Surely Florida will be making a few adjustments as their upcoming schedule contains Cuban, Houston, and Texas Tarheels. As good as they have looked at the beginning of the season, they're now looking vulnerable and these teams will do what they can to exploit it. As for Cuban, they haven't been challenged since the Tarheels where they took their licks. This begins a run of four games in the last 8 that they would consider meaningful (Florida, Port Moody, BC, Lincoln). Both teams will have considered this a seeding game and both are still in it to sneak the #2 spot (among many others). Losses in games like this will slowly drop them out of contention for some home playoff games. I look for Florida to rebound in this game, but I just like Cuban's game-planning way too much. It should be good either way!

Cuban 38, Florida 31

there weren't really any weaknesses we took advantage of in their defense tbh our team just overall has a good rushing build, against cuban overall we rushed 17 times and had 229.5 rushing yards, rushing is just our thing lol but i was shocked at that result as well i planned on redoing our defense after it didnt work on atlanta (altho i did make some silly mistakes) but that win was down to our defense more than our offense but next great team we face im hoping we win due to excellent offense and defense or at least lose with our dignity still in tact

Well, I think we did better than most vs your rushing attack. We stopped you just enough times for us to get a lead and we just hung on. I don't think there's no team that can shut you guys down, obviously, your backs are just to fast!
We're getting better now that our chemistry is moving up. We're always looking forward to our next game with enthusiasm and confidence.
We're right where we want to be and keeping our nose to the wind!

we're hoping to face u guys again in the play offs (hopefully we make it lol) to see how well we do if nothing else coz thats when the real planning starts. since last season i was thinking about how i'd stop our running and i've done something to make that not work (altho it wont be perfect till next season ) but u can never tell what people will do during the play offs but if i can get our passing game up there we'll be a team to be feared

Yeah you're not kidding; they had us sweating it in the fourth quarter until Flash was able to do his usual thing. Thanks!
