ZETA CONFERENCE
-----

The big news this week was Glasgow's effort against Flint. They flip places. Anything else that changed, I didn't notice! No major changes on top in the projections for later games, either. Wildfire didn't score much, but didn't give up much either, so their RRR game is down to 37-17 for RRR. Luxembourg has zero love and is projected to be blown out by Wildfire and RRR and Whitechapel this week. They'll have something to say about that...

1 Red River Ruminants 15 1
2 Whitechapel Rippers 15 1
3 October Wildfire 14 2
4 Luxembourg Lightning Bolts 13 3
5 London Olympians 12 4
6 Glasgow Cats 10 6
7 Flint Hobo 9 7
8 Reading Armed Centaurs 8 8
9 Leipzig Lions 7 9
10 Alrington Sandlot 6 10
11 Rome Ramblin' Thornites 5 11
12 Barcelona Bisons 4 12
13 Mile High Hitmen 4 12
14 Russian Strelets 2 14
15 Honolulu Wave Riders 1 15
16 St. George Javalinas 0 16

This week's games:

October Wildfire vs Flint Hobo (71-23) Spread: 48
Red River Ruminants vs Leipzig Lions (100-7) Spread: 93
Whitechapel Rippers vs Luxembourg Lightning Bolts (58-25) Spread: 33
London Olympians vs Alrington Sandlot (109-33) Spread: 76
Glasgow Cats vs Mile High Hitmen (48-11) Spread: 37
Reading Armed Centaurs vs Barcelona Bisons (35-16) Spread: 19
Rome Ramblin' Thornites vs St. George Javalinas (36-0) Spread: 36
Russian Strelets vs Honolulu Wave Riders (35-32) Spread: 3

Big game this week is Whitechapel vs Luxembourg. Luxembourg is projected get their undefeated season swept away with ease. Wildfire also has a big statement game. Big favorites against Flint, Wildfire has only played mid-carder London this season, and will need to put a big effort out against Flint to make sure nothing funky happens.

Some other blowouts, and a gutter game that should be close, we'll see how that goes, I'm sure they're interested in winning so good luck to you guys in the final game on the list.

ALPHA CONFERENCE
------

1 Irish Car Bombers 16 0
2 Dunder Mifflin Paper Co 15 1
3 Copenhagen Metalheads 13 3
4 Green Island Flying Fish 13 3
5 Vienna Vandals 12 4
6 Dusseldorf Fighting Jesters 11 5
7 The Kop FC 10 6
8 Montsegur Cathars 8 8
9 Amsterdam Fighting Bulls 8 8
10 Warsaw Wolf Pack 7 9
11 Dublin Fighting Irish 6 10
12 Norwich Light Fighters 5 11
13 Nordic Skulls 3 13
14 Devon Broncos 3 13
15 Obamatown Obamanators 1 15
16 Cherry Valley Wizards 0 16

Copenhagen isn't actually on top here, as Green Island is SLIGHTLY favored for the tiebreak win there. They remain tied due to the Flying Fish's week 1 loss to a Zeta team (). Flying Fish have some big ones coming up, including this week...

Irish Car Bombers vs Cherry Valley Wizards (406-2) Spread: 404
Dusseldorf Fighting Jesters vs Montsegur Cathars (41-30) Spread: 11
Dunder Mifflin Paper Co vs Green Island Flying Fish (35-15) Spread: 20
Copenhagen Metalheads vs Nordic Skulls (157-13) Spread: 144
Vienna Vandals vs Obamatown Obamanators (131-3) Spread: 128
The Kop FC vs Devon Broncos (111-14) Spread: 97
Warsaw Wolf Pack vs Dublin Fighting Irish (66-34) Spread: 32
Amsterdam Fighting Bulls vs Norwich Light Fighters (82-16) Spread: 66

Dusseldorf after sliding to the big 3 need to turn it around. They have a tight game here. Green Island has a huge stretch coming up, and is predicted to lose a couple in a row here. I'm sure they'll have something to say about a 15-35 game, though.

Other than that, not much interested to me, maybe to the rest of you, can enjoy some numbers that have proven to be pretty awful, but nonetheless fun to look at (and getting a bit more accurate as the season goes on)

Yeah those RPI are weird (london ahead of wildfire.. go look at that head to head game heh), I don't think I'll include them from now on. It is clear who the computer likes more just by looking at projected game scores. There is rarely any discrepancies of A>B, B>C, C>A in the software.

I think we scouted you or something, not a usual Wildfire occurrence this early in the season but somebody had 'em preseason #1 so we figured what the hell lets do it .

Actually I don't even remember that game or why it got so out of control, but whatever, doesn't matter if you can't replicate it in the playoffs!
