Formatting wasn't as neat as I'd hoped.

It will probably pickup over time, I don't think a lot of teams knew this was being put together. The only reason I knew was because I read these forums.

Interesting notes in Alpha:

A couple of teams chose REG over LBT, even though LBT beat REG this very week.

MIN beat ATL earlier in the year, and was ranked behind them on 3 polls.

BRA and ATL play this week, whoever wins will likely be the best non playoff team.

DET got no love from anyone but DET & BHB. The other 3 voters placed them 6 or 7.

With the exception of BHB, EXP and the bottom 4 teams, every team has votes that were at least 2 places different... e.g. - Prague had a 1st and a 3rd place vote. The widest margin, DET with a 3rd and 2 7th. BRA had a 9th and 2 12th.

Again, it would be more interesting with more votes... but Keiichi is right. Hopefully we can get more people involved.

Formatting isn't BAD Excellent job w/this, cherrie. I stole the idea and am using in USA. The #'s in () are first place votes???

Maybe this would be better if we did it on a real weekly schedule, say every saturday we send our picks in, and sunday night the poll would come out, at least untill it gets some steam. just my 2 cents

I agree with raider, a set day would probably help immensely. The idea for this really only started yesterday or the day before if I remember correctly. Perhaps send a PM to every owner/GM requesting it on a set day? I don't know how many owners are actively reading the forums.

If we did it on a weekly schedule, we'd have, at most, 5 polls for the season. I think it is much more interesting on a game by game basis.

However, if you have suggestions, post them in the Coaches Poll rules thread, and see if what everyone wants.

Seventh? Really? I think that is more against ME than the team. Props to Slayton for crediting us with his vote higher than the others. Apparently our latest set of losses scared some teams on our overall rating. Well, I'll just let the team speak for itself.

Well good sir, it's hard to argue that point when for the majority of this season and last season, you referred to anything about the Cheetahs' and/or their success as "I" or "my," not "we" or "our."

I wasn't one of the 7th place votes, if that helps any Although I did put GCP, COM, and ADD ahead of DET.
