He is not the only player to get banned that day. I wonder whats going on with GLB. I did not always agree with what nfratami said but he did not deserve to be banned IMO. Unless there is more to this than we know. The MODs are keeping this kind of quiet from what I can see.

Yeah there seems to be alot of "cleaning house" goin on lately. I get this feeling that Bort is trying to make GLB smaller. I have no basis for why I think this. I just get a vibe. Either that or maybe GLB as a whole is running out of gas.

well, sometimes, when ego gets in the way, you get cocky and you start typing stuff up or making yourself better than other people. It tends to make you stand out and make you look like a axxxhole. I don't know what the guy did, it could be as simple as posting team game plans on the form or saying something against the rules. The mod teams are looking to make this a good clean game. Then again, the guy could have been a jerk too. Also use of profanity is not a good thing either. I could be totally wrong too.

I've cussed quite a bit on forums and never got in any trouble. Hell Headhunter has called me everything under the sun including the "N" word and he's still here. Whatever he did he must have done it well.

this might sound wierd but i'll miss nfrats. sure he'll irritate and release hot gas in another arrogant bout of angst but i tell you what he was a good competitor that wanted to win.

as i saw it, the Greats folded once nfrats decided to quit GLB due to exploitative plays last season ( the 'Islam' phenomenon) after they lost in the 1st round. seems he returned briefly only to get banned (probably due to another arrogant bout of angst)

GLB has to be careful imo, there's a few shiny new sport web-based MMOs coming out and 1 outstanding candidate that's developing rapidly (11 strong).

GLB might be the next SEGA. First to comeout but last on the charts.

yep. Mango and i are footy fanatics. best game in the world. QPR is based on the very team we supported as children (Queens Park Rangers FC).

we may have some knowledge about gridiron but it's a drop in the ocean as to what we know about 'football'

Truthfully though, I read Mango's post and I, trusting in Mango's opinion on things football (American style), ran over to 11-strong and signed up... I didn't want to miss out on a good thing. I started reviewing it and noticed that they have "preferred foot" and such and I said "must have picked a kicker, what luck". Then I read a lil more and realized I'd stumbled into football (non America) land... ouch.

For the record, I played soccer for most of my young life, while most were doing t-ball then baseball.
