The Alabama Red Elephant Club took on the Bay City Bohica, in a mid season scrim, featuring two of the favorites from each AA-2 conference.

Folks have been saying for several seasons now, that the Zeta conference is the dominant, overpowering conference in the Oceania leagues. That may have been true in seasons past, but the Alpha conference in OAA-2 is hell bent on making that saying a thing of the past, and they made their point today again, in a out of conference scrim against Zeta conference powerhouse, the Alabama Red Elephant Club.
Bama is certainly one of the favorites in the ultra competitive Zeta conference, although half the teams in Zeta probably are considered favorites!!!! Bama had a close loss in their opening game against Alpha powerhouse Vanuatu.....and now they have lost another one to the Bohicas. It's so much better when teams are competitive!!!!!
Anyways, let's get to the game!!!!
1st quarter:
Bay City comes out firing, putting 24 points on the board, while Bama only manages 7 points....
It's really the Bay City defense that makes the 1st important play of the game, and it's just the third offensive play from Bama, when CB Johnny Boy makes an int deep in Bama land....

Bama holds them on this turnover to just 3 points.....
But with just over 3 minutes left in the first..this happens....QB sack and fumble...

2 plays later......TD for Bohica..
But Bama answers right back with their incredible defense, snagging a an int by 3rd string CB, Drake Webster, with this awesome interception for a pick six.....

After that, it was just a lot of back and forth....
2nd quarter...Bama is on an offensive roll......and our QB gets
smothered like biscuts and gravy...and loses the biscut..

And then on the kickoff to start the 2nd half, Bama fumbles yet again, and Bay City recovers......go figure....
