Rwanda Headhunters 5-0 vs. Somalia Shango 5-0
Season 8: Headhunters 34 Shango 9
Season 8 playoffs: Shango 33 Headhunters 30
Can Rick Dee count down a victory against this Rwanda defense?

Dakar Vampires 4-1 vs. Carlton Baggies 2-3
Cruise control city.

Damascan Diamond Cutters 4-1 vs. Dryden Blue Balls 3-2
Time to give the Cutters their due. Only loss is to an unbeaten elephant team and they have been rolling thru Lion since.

Mean Machine 3-2 vs. Worcester Sharks 1-4
The sharks will be sporting their new uniforms.

Madagascar ZeroFivers 3-2 vs. Ivory Coast Destroyers 1-4
The 05'ers helped their playoff shot last week. For the Destroyers, this win would go a long way in getting them back in the picture. despite the fact IC has some heavy talent on defense they are near the bottom in pass defense and middling with run defense. Meanwhile, Madagascar may be content with the win over the Geckos. Are they ripe for upset? 05'ers in a close one.

Senegal River Pythons 2-3 vs. Sierra Leone Pit Bulls 1-4
Pythons.

Tangiers Cape Buffalo 2-3 vs. Cape Verde Geckos 2-3
The Buffalo haven't beaten a winning team yet. The Geckos have what it takes to be a winning team. Another crucial game as far as molding the Lion playoff picture. 3rd week in a row the Geckos are in a pressure game.

Empire State Emperors 0-5 vs. Pretoria Dingoneks 0-5
Emperors get the 'W'.

Are you doing your StevenMac impression? That's already up in our forums.

The Shangos are tough, not a doubt about that. None at all. Not sure what will come out of this game, yet.

Either way, its one Hell of an early season measuring stick.

This will be an interesting game. Both meetings had some big plays on defense and special teams....with the last one being an overtime FG.

Shango sounds like some kind of generic soda pop. Like Shasta but without any taste.

Shango got the important game last season, but we plan on taking them both this time around.

Yes. We are channeling our "inner Yoda" to conjure up the force to overcome the superhuman Shango.

Wow talk about a forum hijack.

I thought this was Game 6 Lion predictions, not the Shango/Headhunter Pregame analasys

Glad to see so many people interested in our game.

Hopefully it will not disappoint, this one can go either way.

Well the guys on the Headhunters are excited about the match up. I guess it just spilled over into the league forum.

It's pretty interesting; when I think we could win actually we lose, and vice versa.

Wow.

That was an ass-whoopin' ...

We've got some film to watch and some officials to blame.

GG, though.

GG Somalia. I guess we won't be getting them both this season. Now we will have to focus on getting our 2nd meeting in the playoffs.

Great game, I was really surprised by the outcome.

Hopefully the roles wont be reversed from last season if we meet again in the playoffs.
