Blowout of the Week

Manila Pack @ Macau Gamlbers

For the first time we find someone other than Phnom Penh getting beat with the ugly stick. Macau goes to 6-0.

Macau 255 - 0
************************************************************************************************

Phnom Penh @ Macau Scorpions

In our Match up of 0-5 teams, the Scorpions will finally erase the big goose egg in their win column.

Scorpions 178 - 10
************************************************************************************************

Chiang Mai Chiefs @ Panay Phoenix

The Chiefs take their 0-5 record and their 8 pt.s per game avg. to Panay this week. The Phoenix will have no problems running up the score in this one and will get to 4 - 2.

Panay 86 - 6
************************************************************************************************

Manilla Death Squad @ Cebu Alliance

MDS takes its high powered offense to Cebu this week for a matchup against the Alliance that Cebu will soon want to forget. The Death Squad is looking to stay among the Naga elite and shouldn't have much trouble with Cebus D.

MDS 77 - 20
************************************************************************************************

Burma Black Dragons @ Bangkok Hookers

The ebony fire eaters take their barbecue show on the road this week to see if they can sanitize the Hookers hometown. Things will get very hot in Bangkok as the Hookers will fail for the 3rd week in a row to get paid.

Dragons 65 - 17
************************************************************************************************

Shanghai Tigers @ Seoul Men

The Men are riding a 2 game win streak, and Shanghai comes in looking to keep pace with the crowd of 1 loss teams. The Tigers might find themselves a little overconfident and the Men will come close to taming the big cats. But in the end Shanghai will enjoy a hard fought meal.

Shanghai 23 - 21
************************************************************************************************

Honk Kong Triads @ N. J. Beaver Hunters

The Triads take the conferences second longest win streak, 4, into the warzone that is N.J. The split tail poachers are still licking their wounds after suffering their first defeat last week. But it'll be the Triads that spring the trap in this one, and the N.J. boys will be left scratching their heads.

Honk Kong 38 - 30
************************************************************************************************

GAme of the Week

Seoul Snatchers @ Tibet Pychonauts

In our 2nd battle of 4-1 teams, the Snatchers head to the wastelands of Tibet, for a smack talk showdown. All the jawing will be done at the end of this one except for the regrets. And the bitching and moaning. Both teams have been impressive early on, but their can be only one who survives this duel in the desert.

Seoul 38 - 30

Uh Oh, now we gotta live up to the numbers 0_o. As always great writeup. Should be a fun game! I won't sit here and say this game doesn't make me nervous...of the strength of our schedule right now, this is the team that will pose the BIGGEST issue, until later in the schedule...Best of Luck!

I hope the prediction is wrong. But I have to say that I'm a little nervous too. This will be one of those games where you have to puke on the sidelines before heading out on the field.

I will say it was probably the hardest decision I've had so far. Could really go either way, I chewed on it for a little while until I realized I was getting to damn stressed over a simple game I had nothing to do with. So I went with my gut. Good luck to both of you guys.

I remember posting with you in the Season 4 expansion thread when we were both still wondering where our new teams would be located. Then we ended up in the same league and conference. Our history goes back that far.

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

I certainly didn't expect that outcome. I'm sure the Snatchers will bounce back.

I sated it would be our biggest issue, and was I right? haha I made some amateur mistakes in preparing, and in turn it bit us in the butt. If I wouldn't have made the mistakes, would we have won? We'll never know All I know is Tibet is one hell of a team, and they ate us up! GREAT GAME MEN! GREAT GAME....
