Yeah, I've never used many pitches that have the Gs pulling that much, mainly because my G is still working on speed.

We had issues this season with goalline rushing, so I'm investing a quick 10 in goal line blocker at the RG position, then I'll probably go back to outside blocker once I get my speed to 60 base and implement those plays in our playbook.

Cheers

Yeah I think I'm going to do the same if I get a reset. +15PB and +15GoalLine should be fucking money, and then I can use Outside Blocker and Great Blocker during the Plateau Path.

pretty good post. but this will just lead to cookie cutter builds. where would we all be without the OT with softcapped tackling?

This makes me want to retire all of my lineman.

So....do I mention where these build guides are off or should I let ya'll build inferior lineman. LOL

I've debated with other agents on the importance of Confidence for a Center. I see you only take it to 48...

The idea (not saying I agree or not) is that confidence influences the usefullness of Line General. Higher confidence triggers either more or stronger "boosts". Any thoughts?

I'd say that is WAY too low...for any lineman

This isn't a build guide, it is what you need to know BEFORE making a player. Going above 48 is reasonable, sure. Everybody should know that 48 is a required cap across the line though, which was the point of making this

Right, not a build guide. And what I would say before you make any OLineman is that a target of confidence of 48 is too low a target. And in response to the center ? of is 48 enough, I stand by the statement of no, it is WAY too low; even if it doesn't impact Line General.

But that's just me....

You say outside blocker doesn't have many uses, which is wrong.

ROT can use it if a team plans to be screen heavy (which many teams are)

RG can get a lot of gain from outside blocker on pitch heavy teams

those are the only two situations to use it, though.

I only recommend it for RG's who do a lot of pull blocking

i just spend 15 points on my offense line. 5, strength, 5 agilty, 5 blocking. I still have another 15 points left over. Should I keep adding points? Or should I leave them alone until a certain level?

Continuing a Build:
RG: Agility to 60, vision to 60, speed, confidence are ...

Specializing a build:
RG: Agility to 68, speed to 60 could really help your mobility

When you say this.. do you mean if we want to specialize we take agility straight to 68 first, then speed to 60, then vision and confidence to 60?

It's better to focus on one category each time, right? Or is it better to alternate. I read a lot of people alternate but people say you should early cap.. what's more beneficial?

First Step: Probobably not a good option anywhere, as you never get moving fast anyway
Quick Cut: This would be great at every single position IF you get two pieces to bring it up to +8.

I disagree with first step not being a good option. I have 8 in FS, and love it.

Here is a good example of why. Watch the RG

I dunno, I don't see much first step there, any G with 49 speed and 60 agility can do that IMO.
