So anyone who has been on this forum lately can tell that theres quite a debate going on in A6 about who is better, west or east.

Now the West has won the cross conference games 2 years running, but that can be due to the fact that the matchups are random and sometimes the best teams play scrubs.

So i propose the following:
Teams from West friendly schedule teams from the east. Any teams intrested can signup here and I can determine matchups based on quality of each team so for instance The Bears from the east dont get paired with the SLUGs from the West.

This is the only way to once and for all prove which conference in better

TEAMS FROM WEST

1. Dallas Hitmen
2. Saginaw Supernovas
3. Long Beach Dub All Stars
4. Virginia George Washingtons
5. Bakersfield Nananas
6. Oklahoma City Twisters


TEAMS FROM EAST
1. Boston Bears
2. Corrupted Presidents
3. Phoenix Scorpions
4. Saint Paul Vulcans
5. NCAA All Americans
6. Houston Toxins

First off, I have only argued that the West isn't better than the Bears, not the whole east. But I still say this is a good idea and we should do it anyways!

so are the bears in?

I am in, not the right guy to talk to tho for setting up friendlies

We will likely be in as well, but we may have flaws in our AI that keeps us from showing how beastly we really are, so please keep that in mind any team that we end up playing in the East.

Hey...Long Beach has a ton of problems with he AI...they only seem to show up against teams in our conference though...(just kidding, mostly).

Seriously though, I'm not sure what some sort of limited participation tourney or round robin does for settling anything. The only thing that makes sense would be to wait until the end of the season and match up 1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 3, and so on. As far as I'm concerned, the preseason and week 1 already has settled this. We were 5-0, and fairly soundly beat three teams that will likely finish in the top 5 over there...Heck, for one of those games (Phoenix, I think), we didn't even play our top 2 RBs....

Ok that's fine, we can wait till the end of the year. But do check out what we did this preseason too. I know those are only a couple wins for the east, and west is the better overall conference, but just defending my own team. I'd still do a East vs west tournament whenever cuz it would certainly make things more competitive during off times, and it would fuel more shit talking on the league page.

Also, I think the ultimate test is who wins the championship so I hope we can make it there and settle it in the championship game. Which conference won the championship last year?

i'm loaded at the moment with friendlies but I'd be fine with it

I don't think anyone was questioning the top team or two, but last year, every team in the west from #3 down to about #7 or 8 was better than the third best team in the east....

We're tentative as of now. I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'm not sure there's a whole lot to gain to be spending a bunch of flex on it....how many free friendlies do we get per season?
