How dead these forums are now.

Who was playing in Season 1 and 2 when these forums were all alive and people enjoyed this game?

The shine has worn off, and I wonder what it would take to get it back.

Season 1 &2 for a few reasons.

It was new, so there was that excitement.

Everyone had there own way to build/GM, so there was less cookie cutter giving more to talk about.

Now teams are only in the Pro/AAA together for more than a season. With the constant shuffling, it's hard to get the competitive convo's going.

i see a bunch of people from BBB #2 here from the past few seasons, so i know a bunch of the teams here. i really think weekly power rankings got discussions going. then again its early enough that people are still trying to work out flaws in there playbooks or the D play creator and such.

I mean us for example, we're reunited with our long time rivals OKC for the first time in 6 seasons?

We're excited about that on one hand, but on the other are having trouble even getting people to log on to accept a new contract offer.

Nothing against Las Vegas - you guys have beat us in all the games where it's mattered - but I don't even know for sure if we had somebody game plan for you guys. Or if we've had people game planning at all.

I haven't game planned personally in 4+ seasons at least.

I don't even fully know how the Off/Def Advanced AI's work.

The shuffling is a good point though. I'm mostly annoyed with the knee jerk reaction changes to major components of the character build process. We dumped our entire original team because major changes made us far less competitive. I think that had a lot to do with it...

I also have not game planned, I dont think it really matters, to a point. I have the same Off and Def that I always run, and really dont change anything except for a few things here and there.

I have been busy at work and have not really have a lot of time like I did the first 2 seasons, but hope that will change soon.

I personally do not need the forum chat to enjoy the game.

I still find it fun and challenging although I do miss the write ups that some people have and like most other people I work and do not have the time to chat in the forums or start topics of discussion.

I ask one thing though do you all chat it up in your team forums?

game plan whats that? i kid but Tulsa went 16-0 last season without ever game planing, we changed playbooks for the playoffs thought. this year im making some tactical adjustments on a game by game basis by that's more or less it. in addition to not having the time i think if i did anything major i would mess up all our AI which seems to be good enough for now.

Well, people need something to chat about for the forum to have life. I do miss someone posting their predictions for each week's game. That got me excited.

Aaaaaaah, those were the days. A bunch of newbs that thought they knew how to build players. Well, at least Lincoln is still having alot of success in USA Pro. It didn't work out to well for us though.
