Hmmm, well, as usual game of the week degenerates into blow out of the week. Must be some kind of curse, so everyone should hope they don't rate game of the week! In other games, Fusion embarrasses Dragons, M-Pirates demolish Seahawks, Drunks don't quite hit the double-d's, Bastards give Oslo a scare, Hell damns the Assassins, Ghosts just can't quite wear down destroyers enough to pull the win, and finally Devils win over D-pirates. 6 teams stand undefeated at the end of week 2, how many will survive week 3?
Drunks vs Assassins. Nothing to see here, Assassin offense and defense no match. Drunks win.
Fusion vs M-pirates. Fusion passing game advanced the ball down the field, while run game was a much less convincing. M-pirates won their last game on running the ball, but their 3 fumbles could have easily started a downward spiral. Fusion had better performance against the bandits, so, Fusion wins.
Dynas vs Ghosts. The ghosts weren't quite able to wear down the Destroyers, the Dynas don't have the same weakness. Dynas wins.
Oslo vs Seahawks. Oslo balanced and deep, Seahawks not so balanced and not quite as deep. Oslo wins.
Devils vs Hell. I wonder, if the devils are playing in hell, is there really a home field advantage? Pretty evenly matched, but Devil O-line not quite as deep as Hell which could be trouble late in game.Hell chemistry not too good right now, but didn't seem to have affected their pass game too bad. Hell wins.
Dragons vs D-pirates. The Dragon's bosom HB should be able to run roughshod thru the D-pirates, while their D keeps the pirates in port. Dragons win.
Cards vs Bastards. Not sure what happened to the Cards this last week, seems like they should have done much better than 3 points. Cards passing game slightly limited by quality of receivers, but their running game is decent. Last week, both teams lost, but Bastards at least gave Oslo a fright. Bastards win.
Destroyers vs Hippos. The destroyers showed that they can score early, but as the game goes on, they get less effective. Hippos, well, just don't have the horsepower, or is that hippopower. Destroyers win.
