The Vampires were a playoff team last year, and are building from there. Dryden took apart a team that had 10 levels advantage on them across the board. AA better take notice. These guys aren't all bravado. Pick: Dryden

Tangiers Cape Buffalo 1-0 vs. Senegal River Pythons 0-1
The Buffalo have some big boys in the trenches both offense and defense. If the Pythons let this turn into a Sumo match, they've lost.

Madagascar ZeroFivers 1-0 vs. Empire State Emperors 0-1
I have to go with the 05'ers. They've been kicked around AA for a couple seasons and are ready to step up to the playoffs.

Somalia Shango 1-0 vs. Ivory Coast Destroyers 0-1
The Destroyers enter the league with a lot of fanfare.
Somalia's passing yards week 1 was against an Africa defense with blitzing holes. Somalia's secondary stands out, IC's LB corp. looks good. Tough game, should be close.

Cape Verde Geckos 0-1 vs. Damascan Diamond Cutters 0-1
New vs. the old with, yes, equal overall ratings.
Weyton carried the load last week for the Gecko offense, I can't help thinking Laine could have a lot of opportunities against the Cutters. The Geckos gave up over 400 yards passing week 1, the Cutters threw for about 350 week one.

Sierra Leone Pit Bulls 0-1 vs. Congo Heat 0-1
It's against my value system to pick a CPU team.

Carlton Baggies 0-1 vs. Pretoria Dingoneks 0-1
The Baggies get to nurse their ego, and chemistry for the next 3 weeks.

Our AI has been really average (that is stating the obvious) with it just not gelling with our new GMs (not blaming them, it just did not work). With an inability to dedicate even 20% of the time I could last season, the baggies are going slow build. Good luck to all the teams here, and hope you beat up on the Elephant conference in the final

Sorry to hear that. You guys had built what looked to be a very good team. Once your chemistry had recovered, you were going to be a tough team to beat. Good luck with the rebuilding project.
