Chicago Killer Frogs vs Kickin' Djibouti
I picked Djibouti to lose their opener and they made me look stupid with a convincing win over former top Lion team Gabon. The Frogs are, and have always been, a great team. They had a very lopsided win week 1 as well. I am going to go with the Frogs in a very close game. If Djibouti proves me wrong again i won't be able to pick against them again.
Gambia Diamond Cutters vs Dakar Dragons
Both come into this week 1-0. Dakar had the best victory of week 1 imo beating the always tough team of PHP. Head1 says he still has upteen players left to boost and assign VAs. Scary thoughts for the rest of the Elephant conference. Dakar gets their 2nd win this week!
Blood Diamond Marauders vs Ghana Woopyoass
I got both of their games wrong in week 1. BDM surprised me with a 22 point victory over WNV while Ghana was beat by Sting Talk by 13. I think Coach823 rallies his players and gets his 1st win this week.
Mozambique Thundercats vs Cairo
Thundercats get a bye week against the CPU team. 255-0
River Styx Jinx vs Swaziland Semnikati
The Jinx took the favored Nile Denial to the wire last week in a thrilling 4 point loss. SS on the other hand got their asses handed to them by Beltway. RSJ takes this game easily.
Real Men of Genius vs CAWD
RMoG got beat down week 1. Either the forgot to game plan or they decided not to try this season. For that reason i take CAWD with the victory.
GAME OF THE WEEK
AAD vs Somalia Warlords
As the owner of AAD this game scares me. A lot. We dont know much about the Warlords other than the fact that they are on a 21 game win streak. That is damn impressive and very hard to do. Mad props to them for that. WR Robert Morken seems to be one hell of a WR. Season 9 really feels like it will finally be the season AAD gets their 1st trophy. I love the way my team looks and have been playing. My offense and defense seems to be on the right track but i believe we have one of the best, if not the best, special teams unit in the league. Well, after all that rambling i am going to be a homer and choose AAD for the win. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the Warlords walked away with the victory.
