Given the players have the same height and weight and there are running the same route without contact or better yet if both were racing from the goaline to the 40. 82Spd/62Agi or 86Spd/56Agi. I'm not a fan of the 40 yard calculators so I'm not gonna use that.

Obviously the 86 speed, but the 62 agility would get a quicker jump. Overall though, the 86 has the faster topend speed. Could you actually see a difference though?

there is a hypothesis about a "2/3" rule that actually prevents you from EVER reaching top speed without enough supporting agility. This comes from Bort's statements a while ago when he implemented the supporting attribute rules, but was never directly stated about a strict 2/3 rule.
If you believe it, though, 56 agility has a top speed of 84 speed. So that 86 literally does you nothing. That is if you believe the 2/3 rule I do! I'd take the 82/62 any day. Though a good goal is 100 / 75

faster = the one with higher speed.
if you want to know the most productive, or the one who will make better use of his speed, then it depends on position, level and other skills.

dont you think some VAs such as FS or QC will allow players who don't meet the "2/3 rule" reach their maximum speed?

They both are relative close to the 3-2 rule. The 86 is just a little over.
I would say the 82-62 would win because of the 3-2 rule and the 86 would be able to catch up.

Assuming all other stats were equal, either of these WR would be effective in a good gameplan. The higher speed guy might be better once he broke past the secondary, but the higher agility guy would stand a better chance of breaking past the secondary, due to the faster start.
just my opinion. remember, they are like buttholes, everyone has one, and they all stink.

I never understood why everyone has stats like that. Speed looks very good on the open field, but Agi takes you there by accelerating and juking out other players.

the 3:2 rule does not take equipment into account. It was a way to nerf speed only receivers back in the day. Just base stats

Actually the fastest would be the one who gets from point A to point B the quickest, right? and that would be a combination of speed and acceleration.
