I would have to say it will be Chubby Wizards vs. Ogre Horde

My prediction: While The Horde have shown great things thus far....I'm picking the Wizards by at least 10 points.

Runner up: Elancourt vs The Transformers

I don't know much about the Transformers....or even Elancourt at this point. But from pulling an answer out of my ass...I will have to say Elancourt wins by a touchdown or less.

The Transformers are a much better team than their level indicates and they have some agents that have been around for a while. I wouldnt be shocked to see them hosting a playoff game or two come season end. I can think of a number of teams from Alpha that I would rather be playing that first game.

Transformers are all directed slow builds. They'll be a force.

We would be happy to finish within a couple scores of the Chubby Wizards. But I don't think it's going to be very close.

Black Sea vs Krakow Knights is a rematch of EEBBB16 championship game from last year. Hopefully I get the same outcome.

I've been playing with some offensive tweaks, so I'm kind of nervous of going 3 and out a bunch.

Well I was right with both picks. I'm fairly surprised at the blow out of the Transformers....but as I said, I didn't really have much to work with.

The best game of the week ended up being Berlin vs. Warsaw http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=508536 . Congrats to Warsaw for pulling out a tough one.

Great game Transformers. You guys really had us worried. I guess all our game planning really paid off. Good luck this season.

I for one absolutely detest this argument that seems to pop up in every league. Personally, I think the inter conference game should be held at either the middle or end of the season. The games would be selected as a 1 for 1. Meaning the #1's in each league would play, down to the 16's vs the other 16. It's possible that it would give an early championship game preview, but it would end the silliness of this argument.

Thx man!! They beat us 31-10 in the preseason so we knew we had our hands full. Feels good to start the season with just not a win but a win over a better team
