Just going to take a stab at this since we have several new teams.
16. Bad Ems Stormtroopers
CPU on day 1....WOW. Maybe an owner can come in with some cash and make it competitive for next season? Looks like it will be a stat padder for Season 9
15. Berlin Blitzkrieg
AAA from last season and unless some things change they will be in A next season. A lot of Cash on hand to buy some players, but looks like another Stat Padder.
14.Rinkenĉs Ringriders
Western Euro AAA drop down for this season. A lot of Cash on hand, but until they make some additions they will be struggling to make the playoffs.
13.Saint-Malo Corsairs
3 Wins last season, but they have made some changes this offseason. Maybe with a few breaks here and there they could double there win total, but still may fall short of playoffs
12.Cologne Drenched Playboys
Not a very Strong Season last year in AA Alpha, but may have outside shot at playoffs with a few bounces here and there. No big additions from the offseason
11.N.Y. FLANDERS
Won 3 games last season but were close in a lot of games. Tough to make playoffs this season, but still could make a run at the playoffs with a few additions before the start of Season 9.
10.Belfast Terror
Lost in the Western Euro A #6 Finals last season. Very good team, but has a few holes before it will be considered a team to beat in AA. Big jump from A to AA.
9.Athenian Demigods
Have looked very good in the PreSeason. Runner up to Baton Rouge Tigers in Season 8 Western Euro A #5. They may find out how tough the jump is though against some very strong teams in AA Alpha. Not much to go on here, but they also have a good chance of making playoffs.
8. Silician Mob
3-Way tie last season led to the Mob not making the playoffs. New faces on Offense and Defense should help them make the playoffs for Season 9. If everything comes together then they could make a run if they get into the playoffs. They have not looked good in PreSeason with 0-3 Start.
7.Düsseldorf Bulldozer
Snuck into the playoffs last season as the #8 seed and have a great offense with a solid defense. Should be a playoff team again this season.
6. Baton Rouge Tigers
Winner of Conference / Leauge champs for Western Euro A #5 last season. Appear to be very strong and well run. Should make playoffs and could sneak up on some top teams.
5.Amsterdam 49ers
Western Euro A #6 Conference / League Champ with a great team. Could be ranked higher, but hard to tell without any real games. Look to be pretty balanced on Offense and Defense. Tough new team to AA Alpha for this season.
4.Portuguese Men-of-War
Last 4 losses were by a combined 17 points last season. Very balanced and well built team with strong running attack. With addition of new WR and DE their team should be in contention again this season.
3. Italian Stallions
Made it to Semi-Finals last season and have made some additions to their Defense this offseason. Should make a strong run at the Championship
2.Fareham Demons
Started out 1-3 last season and then went on a tear beating the both the #1 and #2 teams in the regular season. Lost to eventual champ on FG with 2 seconds left. Will be tough to beat with additions to the secondary and O-Line.
1.The Amsterdam Admirals
#1 Team Regular Season last seasn with only 2 losses. Lost in upset to eventual champion. The even added 3 new studs to their Defense for Season 9. They are the deepest team at SS in the league as well. Should be tough to stop this season.
