It's game week again guys!!!! Finally!!!!!!!!!
Looks like this past weekend signaled the end of college spring football coming to an end, with Alabama once again showing the nation what real college football is all about!!! Along with ESPN showing the game nationally, over 84,000 Bama fans showed up on an overcast, rain filled day, to watch the Crimson Tide play some ball!!! The Crimson Tide had an impressive performance, and coming off a 12-0 regular season, expects to start the 09 season in the top 5......Bama fans can't wait!!!!!

Anyways, it's now gameweek for GLB!!!! So let's take a look at some of the first games scheduled to kickoff just a few short days away!!!! The Scrims are still under way, and even though teams don't take them very seriously, some leaders are starting to emerge for season 9!
How about one of the favorites of Alpha, taking on one of the favorites in Zeta, Vanuatu vs the AREC? I'm thinking this will definitely be one of the Games of the Week for week 1....
Bama is going about business as usual in the scrims, and Vanuatu is taking names and kicking ass in the scrims, beating a Zeta conference favorite, the Endzone Warriors! Bama and Vanuatu should be a very interesting game indeed!!!!!
We will have the Brisbane Bulldogs taking on the Cook Island power Rangers......kinda interesting.....kinda not......should be about a 100 point difference.....
iue5 takes on the Alpha Brisbane Devilcocks...ownage by the Sorcerers....
KSU and the Brisbane Barbarians.....this could be a shoot out, definitely a game to watch!!!!!
The Guam Gamecocks, making another appearence in the AA-2...vs the Melbourne Gators.....solid football game here!
Solomon Island and Port Royal......Solomon Island....nuff said....
Newcastle and Auckland.........the Ghosts will shoo the flames back over to Alpha conference.....
Cairn City Crocs and the Perth Cyclones....Solid game here, should be a good one!!!!
Bay City Bohica and the Uluru Golden Wolves.....this should be another great football game, depending on who gameplans the best, it's either teams game. Both very talented teams!
Easter Island Moai vs the Atlantis Armegeddon......This may be the top match up of the Alpha conference, not only for just week 1, but perhaps for the whole season!!!! Both great teams!!!!
The Endzone Warriors and the Darwin Hardline.....they take on each other in a game that will help determine an early lead for the alpha conference teams, as both these teams will be in the mix for sure!
Another interesting lead off game will be the Poseidon Tridents and The Arkansas State red Wolves...both solid teams. The Red Wolves are looking for redemption...against everyone and everybody!!!!!!
The Sydney Flames and the Mighty Norsemen also looks like it will be a solid and competitive fotball game!!! Another chance for an Alpha team to beat a Zeta team in regular season play!
Sumatra and Melbourne also play............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
And also the Growing Buds and the Mauna Kea Chenabogs play...heavy drug and alcohol induced ZZZZZZZZZZ's!!!
