Who will the Lions take? Will they stick it out with D. Culpepper one more year and pick up a left tackle? If they do they will have a shot at a great QB in Bradford or McCoy. If they take Sanchez or Stafford will they be able to protect them enough to be productive? I.E. Jamarcus Russel.

Im not the Lions but Id take a heavy look at a LT followed closely by a DT since they traded their best two away.

they go QB to groom at #1, hella more picks in the top 83 (?) to beef up the OL and DL

crabtree, and the football world explodes into laughter as the name is announced

seriously though, I think/hope its Jason Smith as I don't buy the hype.I think they need to go QB to establish an identity, and use the other picks they have for the lines. remember, they selected an ot last year in the first as well.

They probably go quarterback with stafford which I think is overrated and the lions suck for another 10 years haha

Go OT and sign Mike Vick after he is released from prison

Perfect match made in misery imo.

It sounds like Culpepper showed up in great shape. Hes probably going to be better than most rookies off the bat.

You can count on the lions to do things ass backwards so they will take stafford 1st then they will go for a OT and a WR with their other 2 picks. which I think they go LT 1st pick and ride culpepper this season then go after one of the 2 stud QB's next season.

he will, which Is why I think they take a QB knowing they can groom him a bit, without getting him killed in his rookie year

The lions will take a LT with the 1st pick. Monroe or Smith. Anyone else would be stupid IMHO.
But, it is the Lions we're talking about.

I really don't think they'll go with Stafford. I can't imagine them spending that kind of cheddar on a guy that can't seem to win a game when playing stout competition. He has to tools though. Stafford has the upside of Favre, and the downside of Ja-Fatass Russel.

Stafford will be the savior from their 50 years curse.

Actually if they listen to their fans they will take Curry #1.. and hopefully Oher at #20 unless they trade the pick.
