I'm hot and cold on it.
On one hand, I think it's create for combating some of the HB passes out of the singleback and Shotgun 3WR formations where sometimes the HB gets out without a LB on him.
On the other hand, I think it can create a lot more work for a DC. The trick is going to be determining when the advanced AI is enough and when you really need special player placement/assignment.

I agree, rutgar. I am starting to wonder where will it end. I think the waiting list for the Casual leagues says it all. I have created about 15 custom plays, but don't plan on using very many of them often.
Most of the custom plays I have seen on private forums are pretty much garbage.

heres my thoughts on it... its good, but i'm not writing a playbook for this game ... i will use it like this: when i go to watch replays; if a play continues to beat my ass I will prolly design a play to stop it.... right now i have a 5 wide, and a goalline... thats it... tho i dc much differently than most

That's probably the best approach, cdd. I see a lot of plays that are being drawn up for reasons that are foolish. I read where they say that the play was created to stop X play, when I have been able to stop X play with the AI all this time.
There are a few instances where the DPC comes in handy, most of the plays being created are pretty useless, tbh.

I think it's a work in progress. I'm not delving too deeply into it. I made a grand total of 3 plays, but I can see it being useful under certain circumstances. I also think that certain users who use it extensively will find a way to make it work for them, and that there will probably be a small percentage of them that will make it work very effectively.
