I was bored and the forums were dead so I will take a shot at the preseason ranking. Please take no offense, but feel free to flame away. There appear to be a couple top tier teams and then a handful of good teams there in the middle.
Best of luck to everyone.
1) Ukraine Valkyries
They appear to have the highest level players. Assuming they are well built and willinsky can run the team well I see no reason for them not to take home the crown. Very balanced and eep on both sides of the ball. the only visible question mark I see is their passing game. If someone is able to stop that running game can they air it out? Time will tell.
2) Bonn Villians
A great looking team with some high lvl players at key positions. Only 3 WRs though? Also, the Dline looks to be a little suspect, but they should fare well.
3) Amsterdam Panthers
This is another really good looking deep team that could take home the Alpha crown. Good depth all the way around along with a few high lvl positions. A few inactives at some key positions may hurt. Time will tell.
4) Sherwood Bandits
Great depth all the way around. Look to be a very solid team. dont really see any weaknesses. Got a solid frontline which generally equals success.Should be a good year for the Bandits.
5) Paris Vikings
Great looking offense, but some depth issues on D. Can that beat you in a shoot out? We will see
6) Lubeck Cougars
A familiar opponent of mine, they seem to have brought in some new help. Look very solid on both sides os the ball.
7) Dinwiddie Dustdevils
MY team so I wont say anything.
8) Rome Fire
Great looking team with some serious talent on the defensive side of the ball. Secondary is looking pretty thin though.
9) Montana Wolverines
Another familiar face from last season. Seem to have stuck with their solid core group of players and should be right in the mix come playoff time.
10) West Palm Beach Hurricanes
You may say, wow why so low. While they have a great starting lineup, especially on the defensive side of the ball, they have serious depth issues that need to be addressed before season start.
11)Blackpool Brigade
Has some serious talent, but some serious holes/depth issues. 2 CBs? That cant be good. If they address these issues before the season they could really make some noise.
12) Copenhagan Vikings
Another familiar face for myself. They seem to have kept most of the team intact. With some solid gameplanning they could steal a few and make a run.
13) Galway Grudge
A little outleveled, but seem to have alot of players from a few agents. Possible slow build? If so that could even the playing field a bit. Pair that with some good gameplanning and they could scare some folks.
14) Barcelona Matadors
Got some great talent on this team but with more than half the roster CPU, I dont see them winnign to many.
15) Sweden Army
A team trying to get demoted. I imagine they will again. And with a stadium like that I am certain they will make a run back to the top.
16) Kalamazoo Warriors
Slowbuild team.
Best of luck to everyone.
