Get on a d-league, preferably with some cpu centers's. I did that with my 2 new OT's and got about 80 plays a game. I wish I had done that when i created my first players. Instead I went for a real team and got very little play time. As a matter of fact, these 2 are going to be 15's on the last day of the season when I boost them, and I want to keep them on a casual or low level team to max play time and xp. Then season 10 they'll be ready to move on up.
I also didn'tuse my SP (maxamizes training) so they have 70, and will have 85 when they boost.

Sitting out for one season pays off... as long as you're willing to sacrifice your last season (come on, 10 seasons is over a year from now, do you really care about how your guy will be in a YEAR?), I'd do it if you can find the training cash.

^ agree
Then again, I don't care where my players are tomorrow if they seriously kick ass today.
I can just retire them and make more players without it costing me another penny.
