Not sure what you were trying to prove, but you took the opportunity away from all your agents to be on a championship team.

Southriding ran 56 plays, 53 rushes/3 passes, 26 runs from the strong I, so just barely over 50%.
In the conference championship, Southriding ran the strong I less than 33%.

Our owner would not agree to an 'GENTLEMANS' agreement to "not run a specific play or exploit play exclusively'....He did so, rightfully so, because we were not going to change, or give any information about what we will or will not do.

The Stingrays have been run heavy for 5+ seasons, nothing changed......
You changed your ENTIRE gameplan for the championship game to prove a point....

im so sick of this bullshit..

i wish bort could just find a good balance between the run and the pass and stick with it so this game could actually be realistic rather than just teams with random GM's that live in the "secret cheats of GLB forum" being successful..

Orrrrr they changed their gameplan to catch you off guard? To try and control the clock? To keep your offense off the field? Don't assume they ran the ball to just "prove a point", that running works in GLB and everyone can do it. I know valakar is a good guy and he wouldn't throw a championship game just to stick it to the man and pound the rock. Your owner not agreeing to not exposing the play and just playing a fair game, all out no strong Islam a good portion is more stubborn than it.

Honestly had we tweaked one key thing instead of calling those two FB plays on 4th down that did not result in a first down we would have converted those 4th downs and scored on those drives thus causing us a victory. Also if we had not overlooked putting in some setting to cover 4th quarter down 4+ to open up more passing to get down the field and not have the clock run out things may have been differently also.

Not going to comment other then that. I know the interaction I had with your owner as does he. I kept that out of the conference forums but we can shed light on the entire exchange if that is what you are wanting? The funny thing is I did prove a point. I told your owner we would run the ball exclusively. It was very obvious from our exchange and yet he still couldn't stop it (we stopped ourselves on those plays mentioned above being the wrong play calls from the sim).

The Stingrays being a run team does not make it right. So if I say well we have been using this exploit for 5 seasons now not sure why it is such a big deal now all of a sudden. Please the defensive line mechanics against Strong I Slam, Single Back Slam, and the Inside runs from the I are virtually the same. It never has been a play issue and always has been a sim issue with how the HBs always gain the extra yardage and go through the pile untouched for a yard or so then tackled and still gain another 1/2 to 1 yard and thus when ran 4 downs you always get a first down. Thus you continue to drive the opponents time of possession down and cause them to lose energy and morale and the running gets more and more and more successful as the game goes on. That is the problem. I could care less if you run the ball 80-90% of the time. The only thing I was asking your owner to agree on is not running the same play over and over and over again on all 4 downs thus utilizing a known problem in the sim. He could have simply responded with we don't run the same play over and over again and will not do that on 4 downs. We run heavy always have but never intentional to exploit things. Instead he says things like "We will do whatever it takes to win" and other similar comments. So I was left no choice but to respond in what I felt gave us the only chance of winning. No passing team or balanced team can compete against a running team in the season 8 sim. If you want to challenge that be my guest but I am willing to wager that you will not have success finding many game that prove this wrong.

In the end I am proud of our team and our season and plan to move on. I have no ill will towards anyone but would appreciate it if people would not try to publicly slam anyone else without proper research. This is why all of my contact was made via PM with the owner of your team and not put out on the forums.

Oh quit trying to justify anything and if you did not think you had to why not just say good game? I did not start a thread saying you won because of cheese or calling you or the team out. So why did you have to add the extra commentary to your self promotion of the championship? Obviously nobody else cared enough to start a thread to congratulate you so there must be a reason for that.

Actually, we already have trophies...and we earned them the honorable way, extensive gameplanning, great builds and setting tactics...not by taking advantage of exploits...

This game isn't about trophies anyways..it's about having fun....the trophies are worthless...we don't spend hundreds, some people even thousands of our hard earned money for a worthless jpeg of a trophy...we pay to have fun and be entertained...and frankly, season 8, or the "I-SLAM season", wasn't much fun or entertaining for most...

I would even venture to say that most of the teams that won their trophies with the I-SLam exploit or the QB running exploit will probably not win another trophy once these exploits are removed from the game...
